Halloween might be a good a nine months away, but one woman has already gotten a head start with some costume ideas.
Photographer Tricia Messeroux is the creator of the ToddleWood Project, a series of photographs of children dressed as celebrities after their red carpet premieres. And even though the Grammys just ended, she managed to get a boatload of kids outfits that look scarily like those of Beyonce, Adele and plenty of others.
The project began back in 2008 when Tricia decided to photograph her then toddler daughter, Skylar. "I've been told that she looks like Diana Ross so I said, 'You know what? I guess I'm going to play along and photograph her looking like Diana Ross.' We did that and I realized I had something on my hands," she said to Entertainment Weekly.
"I called a few women that I knew were very talented in different areas: wardrobe stylists, dress designers, makeup, hair — these women that were talented in all these different areas that I needed — and I held a casting call."
We can only imagine what this is going to look like after the Oscars in just a few weeks!
