The Grammys strictly forbid boobs and buttocks this year. They didn't say anything about dressing like an astronaut or a matador, however.
And so, while many of our favorite stars wowed us in coutoure gowns (and pantsuits), a few artists took the liberty of looking a little more... interesting. CBS Standards & Practices has a new best friend in Grammy nominee Al Walser, after all, since it is impossible to bare any buttocks curvature or puffy genitalia while dressed from head to toe as a spaceman.
See the round-up of this year's weirdest looks, then vote for the most bizaree in our poll!

A Grammy winner for Best Regional Mexican Album, Lila Downs' outfit is not likely to inspire such praise. If some outfits are merely loud, then this one is screaming bloody murder. A dollar to anyone who can name a color not represented in this busy pattern.

If a bull charges the Grammys, Janelle Monae is totally ready. She'll just rip off a piece of the red carpet and use it as a cape... since that seems to be the only reason one would dress as a matador at a major awards event.

Nice cleavage, Tamia, but are you trying to win a Grammy or look like one? There's too much gold going on here and that hat is totally wrong for the occasion (and probably any occasion).

No, it's not exactly a surprise that Redfoo looks like a red carpet foo' at this year's Grammys. But a shorts-suit, seriously? Not sexy, and we all know it. Please aplogize for party-rocking one more time.

Apparently, the Grammys make Florence Welch horny. How else to explain the spikes sticking out of her otherwise-flattering emerald green Givenchy number? We're not sure this dress works for the Grammys, but she'd fit right in in Jurassic Park.

Okay, we knew Lichtenstein was far, but we didn't know it was in space. Al Walser had to come an awfully long way to the Grammys, only to lose Best Dance Recording to Skrillex. At least no one can tell if he's crying about it with that helmet... time to blast off back home, Al.
