Ben Affleck May Not Have Attacked Paparazzi, But 5 Other Celebrities Sure Did

Ben Affleck is serious about having his personal space bubble violated.

While holding daughter Seraphina over the weekend, he reportedly tried to kick photographers who got too close and scared the little girl. However, sources close to Ben are denying this and claim that after he asked the paparazzi to back away and they refused, he merely swung out his leg to indicate how much distance he wanted.

While Ben may be denying going after a member of the paps though, some celebrities couldn't even if they wanted to because there's documented proof. Check out five of the craziest celebrity paparazzi attacking encounters of all time!

1. Alec Baldwin

Alec's fiancee may have something to worry about. Right after they applied for a marriage license last June, Alec attacked a photographer outside of a NYC courthouse. However, Alec said he was merely defending himself after the paparazzo got too close and hit him with his camera.

2. Justin Bieber

So much for that date! While out and about last May with then-girlfriend Selena Gomez, he got into a physical altercation with a photographer who spoiled the moment and pushed him to the ground. Selena quickly fled the scene and mere months later, the entire relationship.

3. Russell Brand

One of the funnier celebrity photos in recent memory came back in 2010, when Russell had enough of a photographer who was trying to take photos up then-fiancee Katy Perry's skirt.

4. Britney Spears

Who can forget this epic shot? Back in 2007 (a.k.a. the year of the meltdown), a freshly shaved Britney reached unprecedented levels of crazy when she began ramming a paparazzo's car with an umbrella.

5. Sean Penn

When it comes to crazy paparazzi encounters, no one can hold a candle to Sean. His disgust for the press has been well-documented, but he nearly killed a photographer in China back in 1986. When he caught a pap hiding in his hotel room, Sean proceeded to dangle him from his ninth floor balcony! He was sent to prison on attempted murder charges, but then unbelievably snuck out and fled the country. Sean miraculously avoided facing jail time for either incident, but has not been back in the country since.

absolutely, we need to re-think the way we treat celebs. i dont buy smut magazines for those photos. its ghastly, i would go nutso too if i was a celeb, especially when it comes to protecting my kids
