Brody Jenner is looking to strengthen his relationship with dad Bruce Jenner, which conveniently means he'll be scoring face time on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The former reality star is ready to get back on the small screen and has officially signed on to be part of Season 8 of his extended family's show.
Although Brody was once a staple on MTV's The Hills, starred on other reality shows like Bromance and Princes of Malibu, and stayed somewhat relevant in the media for his two-year relationship with Avril Lavigne, he's been pretty M.I.A. for the last year or so. Which means, unfortunately, we have to question just what Brody's motives for suddenly getting close with his fam really are.

"I've been blessed with a very large family, 10 kids, and I've been waiting for years for Brody to break down and spend more time with the family," Bruce tells E! News. "I'm very excited."
Meanwhile, Brody's stepsis Khloe Kardashian adds on her blog, "My stepbrothers Brody and Brandon, and Brandon's wife Leah, are going to be on the show much more, which means an even closer look at the inner-workings of my crazy, wonderful family! Get ready people!"
So, while the family seems excited about the new cast addition (although we haven't heard what Kim Kardashian has to say about losing facetime to her stepbrother), we can't help but wonder why Brody suddenly wants to pop up out of the woodwork and dive back into reality TV.
But hey, if you've got the chance to cash in on your extended family's success... why not take it, right?
Are you excited to see Brody on the show's next season?
