Have you ever imagined yourself up on The X-Factor stage? Well, not long ago, the boys of Emblem3 were right there with you, and now with the next wave of auditions coming up in just a matter of days, it’s aspiring musicians’ chance to achieve the burst of success these guys have so recently enjoyed.
Wesley, Keaton, and Drew cozied up with Hollywire’s Chelsea Briggs to chat about their fans, why The X-Factor is such an important gig for hopeful stars, and how they’re coping with the sudden major changes in their career.
Oh yeah, and they also totally dished on their new album, too!

While these guys have obviously had a big burst of fame in recent months, it sounds like the three are staying pretty humble and focusing on what matters. “I could see how a big ego could develop out of this, which is the last thing I want,” Drew says behind the scenes of their sold-out show at The Roxy in Los Angeles. The guys aren't even that jazzed about partying with Justin Timberlake... because they've got their sights set on their new album, which they promise has a mix of sounds including a “folky pop sound,” “island reggae,” and mainstream radio tunes.
The guys are clearly grateful for the amazing opportunities they got as a result of The X-Factor. “It’s the life of an artist on steroids, or on Miracle-Gro,” Drew says of the way the show puts a music career on the fast-track. They think there's nothing to be afraid of for fans who want to take a stab at getting on the show themselves... what's the worst that can happen?
