After Jennifer Lawrence's amazing breakout year as a major star on the big screen in 2012, it was hard not to immediately fall in love with her. But if possible, seeing her candid and witty interviews on the red carpet during awards season just made the world obsess over the Silver Linings Playbook starlet even more.

However, Jennifer is now coming clean about her laid-back interview style, which fans have praised for being so different from what we're used to from Hollywood. She says speaking to reporters on the carpet isn't nearly as easy for her as she's making it look!

"I'm scared I'm going to go my whole life being scared like a chihuahua," she tells the U.K's Fabulous Magazine, adding that the red carpet isn't her "comfort zone."

"When I'm doing movies, I'm really happy," Jennifer continues. "That's where I'm comfortable, that's my home. When you put me on a red carpet or on a stage, I turn into Chihuahua Jennifer."

The Hunger Games leading lady also tells the mag that she doesn't go back and listen to or read her interviews. "I would probably turn into a mute if I read what I said," she admits.

Now that Jennifer has won an Academy Award, it would be easy for her to get cocky and comfortable in her new A-list lifestyle, but the reason we love her so much is because she does just the opposite. "I don't ever walk around feeling famous," she says, humbly. "I walk around feeling the exact same way I have my entire life, but it's not until I talk to somebody and see in their eyes that I'm different. It makes me feel weird. A lot of things that I didn't even think could ever be possible for me have happened, all in a year. It's been overwhelming, but in a wonderful way."
