Um, who needs Ryan Seacrest when you have a best friend as awesome Nina Dobrev?

Julianne Hough turned to her famous gal pal over the weekend after ending her two-year relationship with Ryan -- and she doesn't look like she's taking the breakup all too hard! The ladies spent the day at the beach on Saturday with some friends and then sat courtside at the Los Angeles Lakers game on Sunday.

Most important, though, is that Julianne was her smiley self all weekend long. So do you and your busy schedule take that, Seacrest?

Okay, okay, so Julianne obviously isn't throwing a party or anything, and she made it clear on Twitter that she's definitely leaning on her pals during this difficult time. "Beachin' with my b****es #friendsarethebesttherapy," she captioned an Instagram photo.

She also uploaded a pretty heavy Ed Sheeran quote to her Instagram, reading, "I can't tell you the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone."

Though Ryan and Julianne seemed like a pretty perfect couple, we do have to remember that there is a 14-year age gap between the two, and now that Julianne has her footing in Hollywood, it's definitely time for the girl to try out the independent thing for a while. Plus, there's a lot of hot young prospects she can move onto. Zac Efron is a single Lakers fan, too... and he's not too hard on the eyes, when last we checked.
