It's safe to say that Justin Bieber would like to have a do-over on 2013. (Yes, already.)

Between hospital visits, fights with neighbors, the end of a relationship and developing a rep as a teen idol brat, the last three months haven't been too kind to Biebs. It seems that even Justin is feeling the backlash and the singer has talked about stepping away from the spotlight for a bit once his current world tour comes to an end.

"I'm thinking about my next album, next tour. Or maybe I'll take a break," he said to Us Weekly. "I'm figuring it out. Isn't that what you're supposed to do at 19?"

Justin also finally addressed his bizarre gas mask fashion on two separate trips out in London, claiming he was just doing it to get some privacy. "I wanted to hide my face from all the cameras. They [my friends] got it as a joke. My friends and I like messing around," he said. We're still questioning how great of a ploy for privacy this was, especially since it was pretty obvious after the first time that barring the apocalypse, only Justin would wear a gas mask in London. Whatever works for him, though...

With all the criticism he's been facing, it's easy to forget that Justin would be a freshman in college and is at an age where verbal barbs can still sting. He accused the media of creating a circus environment and hoping for him to crash and burn. "The biggest misconception about me is that I'm a bad person," he said. "I get upset about that. I have a big heart. I want to be a good role model, but some people want me to fail."

However, Justin has plenty of touring to do until he can take a break. The European leg of his world tour is well underway with a show tonight in Munich, Germany. The European swing ends on April 22 in Stockholm, Sweden, and then he'll take a two month break before the U.S. leg of the tour kicks off on June 22 in San Diego. The world tour officially wraps up on August 10 in Atlanta.
