Mariah Carey is a self-proclaimed total DIVA, but it turns out that isn't enough to make her the biggest prima donna on the set of American Idol!

The competition was close for the first half of the season, but now Nicki Minaj has taken the top spot as Idol's biggest diva after she arrived 13 minutes late to Wednesday night's live show.

When Ryan Seacrest originally opened the show, only Mariah, Randy Jackson and Keith Urban were in their seats. "I hear [Nicki's] seven minutes out and there's some congestion on the 405," he explained to the crowd. "She should be here momentarily."

When Nicki did arrive, after missing a performance by Curtis Finch Jr., she made no apology or mention about the incident, but she did jump right into her comments and critiques after the next performance. She was also noticeably dressed down in a dark sweatshirt, hood up, and sunglasses for most of the evening. Hmm... someone was having a bad day, I guess?

Although Nicki didn't make a public apology, she did make nice with Curtis backstage. "When I got done singing, she was standing right there," he tells Us Weekly. "She was like 'Good job,' so I feel like she was still there for me. These judges are amazing and they give passionate feedback after you sing."

Considering we've still got about 10 more weeks of these live shows to go, something tells me this isn't the last diva move we'll see from Nicki. Wait for it... wait for it...

Do you think Nicki's lateness is excusable?
