Selena Gomez is back! Well, she hasn’t really gone anywhere, but she’s back in the music conversation again, at least. The Spring Breakers star released the cover art for her new single “Come And Get It” and she's looking pretty damn fierce in all red. (How timely!)
Selena will premiere the song on Monday, April 8th during On Air With Radio Seacrest, but we’ll have to wait until the 9th to actually buy a copy online. Surely a YouTube lyric video will be posted on the actual premiere day so we can just put that on repeat to get our fix.
Along with the exciting news of Selena’s return to music after a year-long hiatus, she’s also heading back on stage! She’ll perform “Come And Get It” at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on April 14th and then again on The Ellen Show on April 16th! After making all the rounds to promote Spring Breakers plus these shows, we're wondering if this girl even sleeps at all?

"It is my first performance back as a musician," she told MTV News. "I'm so nervous! I think it's really cool, 'cause I got to take a year off of music and really be a part of great movies and work with great people, so I thought it would be perfect that I kind of go into music again through MTV and then the Movie Awards. So I thought it would be appropriate. I'm so stoked!"
She continued, “I think for the performance, I'm going to try to do things that nobody's ever really seen from me before and kind of take it to the next level. So hopefully I'll do a good job."
While we don’t know too many details about Selena’s upcoming album –- besides the fact that it’ll probably full of breakup, girl-power anthems -– we do know that it’s set to drop sometime this summer.
