In case you haven’t noticed, we’re all mega Ed Sheeran fans around here, so when we caught wind of a brand new music video for his single “Lego House,” we were all over it.
But it’s not your typical video -– it’s a LEGO video! Get it? Because of the name of the song? Okay, bad joke but here’s the truth –- it’s the most awesomest thing ever!

We were already in love with the original “Lego House” music video and the fact that Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint starred in it made it pretty perfect. But this stop-action LEGO version is just pure genius.
Dylan Woodley of Insomniac Animations is the creator behind the LEGO version and spent 50 days recreating Ed’s music video out of nothing but LEGOs. “I wanted the LEGO version to express as much emotion as possible (and you know, be able to sing), so the entire face was created and composited digitally,” Dylan said. “Lining up a digital LEGO face to a blank LEGO head frame by frame took a very long time, but the results were worth it; there’s nothing quite like a LEGO guy singing.”
Plus, let’s face it –- a LEGO guy singing Ed just makes it that much better!
