Hilary Duff is making a return to the small screen! The former Lizzie McGuire star will play a love interest (Stacey) for Ashton Kutcher (Walden) on the season finale of Two and a Half Men.

"So excited to be joining the cast of this week! I get to play a crazy drunk girl, funnnn!!!" Hilary tweeted on Tuesday. Hmmm... looks like she'll really have to get into character for the role, because her real life as a mom and wife doesn't seem to involve a whole lot of drinking and partying. Show us what you got, Hil!

The mom of one won't be the only celeb to make a guest appearance on the finale, either! Taxi star Marilu Henner will play Hilary's grandmother in the episode, who Ashton's character ends up falling for in an intriguing (and weird) twist of events.

"So lucky and excited to work with the beautiful & talented on this week! Today was a blast!" Hilary wrote on Twitter after wrapping up her first day of filming.

Although Hilary is dedicated to and busy with her family at the moment, she revealed last year that she's been hitting the studio and is ready to put out some new music soon, too -- but there's no official word yet on when that will be. And while she's made a few guest TV appearances over the last few years, we're hoping for a return to the big screen soon, too!

Do you think Hilary was a good casting choice for Two and a Half Men?i
