Few things are off-limits with Kanye West, but making fun of his baby mama Kim Kardashian on Saturday Night Live appears to be one of them.

Kanye will appear on the season finale of SNL as the musical guest, but he;s already expressed concerns about the show's writers making fun of Kim during the episode. The show has notoriously spoofed her in the past as being whiny and self-absorbed (and by "spoofed," we mean done spot-on impressions), but it seems Kanye objects to another skit that will make fun of her in the season finale.

The writers of the show are reportedly pushing for a skit that portrays a pregnant Kardashian in an over-the-top manner, but West is reportedly not on board with the concept and trying to come up with a compromise.

"They have to tread lightly because Kanye hasn't been happy with all the flack Kim's been getting about her pregnancy weight gain," said an NBC insider to Radar Online. "It's definitely going to be a challenge -- the writers don't want to piss off Kanye so they're prepared not to cross the line, but they will go as far as they can."

One idea that the rapper is reportedly on board with is including Kim in one of the skits that spoofs her. "They've come up with a win-win scenario where Kim actually gets a cameo at the end of the skit. That would probably make everyone in Kanye's camp -- and especially Kim -- very happy," said the source.

Then again, considering the reviews that Kim received for her big screen debut in Tyler Perry flick Temptation, it probably wouldn't make viewers very happy.

It's still unclear exactly when Kim is expected to give birth, but most reports indicate that she is due sometime this summer. Since announcing her pregnancy, she's been the subject of numerous unflattering headlines about her weight gain during pregnancy, drastic attempts at trying to stay slim, outfits that are in no way maternity-friendly, and her struggle to adapt to the changes in her body.

The finale for Season 38 of SNL will air on May 17.
