Finally! After months of talking about all this new music she's making, Miley Cyrus is officially ready to drop the first track from her highly anticipated upcoming album. The singer has been teasing us for months about how "dope" her album is going to be, and now we'll finally get a chance to hear it for ourselves — this Sunday!
Yep, Miley will be performing her new song "We Can't Stop" at this Sunday's Billboard Music Awards. She shared the news on Twitter by posting a headshot of herself screaming in a sequined tube top with a message announcing the performance. Miley joins anticipated performances from Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez and is also slated to present at the show.

Although we've recently heard Miley featured on records from will.i.am and Snoop Lion, this will be her first solo venture in a few years, and the LP will be her first studio album since Can't Be Tamed came out in 2010. The singer has since changed her image and made it clear that she's going for a pretty different sound, so fans and critics alike have been waiting for the chance to hear what she's come up with.
The release of her new single comes hot off the heels of Miley being named Maxim's Sexiest Woman on the Hot 100 list. Although many don't agree with the magazine's decision, the announcement did help take some of the headlines heat off of Miley's reportedly failing relationship with fiance Liam Hemsworth. For months there's been speculation that the young couple is calling off the engagement, but just this week, Miley was photographed wearing her engagement ring.
It looks like things are looking up for this former Disney Darling... for now, at least!
