In Hollywood, it couldn’t be more common to see a pretty young thing on the arm of an older dude. It’s less common to see a younger man hook up with a more mature lady.
But Robin Wright has decided to declare to the world “Yep, I’m a cougar!” by stepping out with her younger boyfriend, who could technically be her child (in a 15 & Pregnant sort of way).
The House of Cards star supported her boy ― er, man ― at the Lucille Lortel Awards, which honor off-Broadway theater. Ben is currently starring in the soon-to-close play Orphans opposite Alec Baldwin, as he stepped in to replace Shia LeBeouf following his ousting. Unfortunately Ben's casting wasn't the good luck charm the play needed, since disappointing attendance will lead it to close May 19 and both Alec and Ben were snubbed by the Tonys.

Robin (formerly Robin Wright Penn) was previously married to Sean Penn, of course, who was five years older than her. Robin is 47 now (and looking mighty fine for her age, we must say!), while Ben is 32. So she’s not exactly robbing the cradle, at least.
While rumors have been flying that the two were dating (and a few pics have been snapped showing them together), this was the first time the two actually stepped out as a couple.
Ben will soon be seen in Kill Your Darlings, playing William S. Burroughs, and Robin will be seen in Two Mothers, playing ― wait for it ― a cougar who falls for a much younger man.
Hmm… art imitating life or life imitating art?
Do you think Robin and Ben make a cute couple?
