American Idol loves to bring back alumni who have gone on to become major figures in the music industry, as they’ve done throughout Season 12 with Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson and more. The upcoming season finale is no different –- actually, it’s better!

Season Eight contestant Adam Lambert will be teaming up with one of our favorites, Angie Miller, on next week’s season finale, according to the Hollywood Reporter, bringing plenty of rockin’ power to the stage.

Jennifer Hudson has always been asked back for the big night, though she hasn’t been confirmed just yet. But another pairing we do know for sure is going down -- country group The Band Perry will sing with Janelle Arthur, who came in fifth place this season.

We can’t seem to escape the rumors of Jennifer Lopez’s return to Idol on the finale and it seems pretty close to being 100 percent true, especially since her new single “Live It Up” drops tomorrow. Seems like a good time for her to hit the stage, right?

While all these Idol rumors float around, there are two things we know for sure: either Angie Miller, Kree Harrison or Candice Glover will be crowned Season 12 American Idol winner and will undoubtedly reach success.
