Abercrombie & Fitch learned a very valuable lesson: you don’t mess with Swifties. Hey A&F, why you gotta be so mean?
Let’s be honest – the store hasn’t had the best reputation lately after refusing to market plus-size clothing and now they have gone and tried to make fun of Taylor Swift. Little did they know that her fans – a.k.a. Swifties – didn’t find it too funny.

Abercrombie produced a shirt that read “ #more boyfriends than t.s.” which is obviously referring to Taylor’s dating record. The retailer was forced the pull the shirt after receiving a number of complainants that the shirt was insulting the singer – which it obviously is.
But to take it one step further, one very devoted Swifties took the YouTube to post a video of her calling up Abercrombie’s Public Relations department and give her opinion of their new shirt. Note: this was the greeting the teen got when she dialed, “Thank you for calling Abercrombie & Fitch public relations. If you are calling regarding the Taylor Swift t-shirt, please note this is no longer available.”
Oh, don’t worry – that didn’t stop her from unloading on A&F.
What do you think?
Are Swifties taking the shirt way to seriously or was A&F being way too mean?
