Ariana Grande is the role model for girls all over the world, thanks to her self-confidence, loving herself and chasing her dreams. But she reveals in the latest issue of Seventeen magazine that just a few years ago, that wasn’t the case for herself.
Talking about her days on Nickelodeon’s Victorious, alongside Victoria Justice, she admitted she was the unhappy during that time. “I worked with someone who told me they’d never like me,” she explained. “But for some reason, I just felt like I needed her approval. So I started changing myself to please her. It made me stop being social and friendly. I was so unhappy.”

Hm, should we take a wild guess on who she’s talking about or just let it be? Let’s just say it probably wasn’t an extra on set and it definitely isn’t her Cat & Sam co-star Jennette McCurdy. How do we know this? Because Ariana had nothing but kind words to say about her in the mag!
“I am so lucky to be working with Jennette McCurdy,” she said. “She is a real, genuine honest person, a good friend and doesn’t care about all the superficial BS. She’s the most hilarious actress I’ve ever met and I just adore her… I used to watch iCarly and think, ‘Wow, Jennette is such a standout star and so good.’ Now she’s one of my best friends.”
Do you think Ariana is talking about Victoria Justice? Or could it be someone behind the scenes?
