Her character Alex may have left her fiancé at the alter in Happy Endings, but in real life actress Elisha Cuthbert made it down the aisle with no problem!

Elisha married her beau of 5 years, Toronto Maple Leafs hockey player Dion Phaneuf, in Summerfield on Prince Edward Island in their native Canada.

They tied the knot at St. Catholic, a small church on the island and drove off to an equally intimate reception in a vintage black Camero SS (Elisha’s gift to her groom!). Though Dion's aunt told local newspaper, The Journal Pioneer that the wedding was “not as glamorous as I thought it would be." Yeesh, Elisha's aunt-in-law has some high standards…

But, what’s more thrilling then Dion’s sweet new ride? – um, Elisha’s wedding dress, obviously.

She wore a stunning, yet traditional white gown by Alexander McQueen complete with long lace sleeves and a scalloped neckline. It's reminiscent of Kate Middleton’s gown -- not easy to pull of a princess dress, but Elisha managed to do it flawlessly.

Congratulations Elisha and Dion!

What do you think of Elisha’s gown? Too copy-cat or did she make the look her own?
