It’s that time of the year again! Time to celebrate our independence with pools, barbeques, fireworks, good friends, family and, of course, fashion! Yeah, you probably weren’t expecting fashion but think about it – you have to wear something festive to those parties!
In honor of the Fourth of the July, here are our fashion tips on how to dress appropriately for the festivities!
Blue & White Stripes
Blue and white stripes never go out of style, but let's face it -- it can look a little "blah" standing alone. Add a pop of red, whether it's with accessories or makeup, to show your American pride in a casual way.
If you're more of a risk taker, or just really love color, you can keep the stripes trend going, but swap the white for blue. January Jones goes for a much more casual, comfortable look with this one but wear a blue and red stripped dress would be perfect!
Wearing a simple look like a white top, dress or jacket would be great, but you know what would add a little more to it? Some red or blue! Haylie Duff goes for the red sweater while Russell Brand adds his red scarf.

Colorful, Pattern Dresses
Going along with the pop of color, how about Jessica Alba's look? Find a patterned dress with red, white and blue and playing one just one of the colors.
Put It On Display
Want to get straight to the point? Wearing it on your shirt! Ashley Tisdale ditches the colors all together but sports the American flag on her tank, while Ashley Benson does the complete opposite. It at least shows that you put some effort in.
