UPDATE: Stacy Keibler recently dropped by EXTRA TV and opened up about George Clooney, confirming that the two have split up.

EXTRA correspondent Terri Seymour was not shy about bringing up Stacy’s relationship status and when she announced that Stacy was newly single, George’s ex kept it upbeat by replying “I’m someone that’s always lived in the present moment. I always look at the positive on everything."

When asked if her and George would remain friends Stacy was quick to answer, “Of course, of course,” adding, “There’s nothing really dramatic that happened, so it’s all good.”

What do you think about Stacy and George’s break-up?

---

George Clooney's list of ex-girlfriends might end up longer than his IMDB credits.

Rumor has it that Cloons and Stacey Keibler have called it quits —though to be fair, breakup rumors have basically been floating since they got together. But is it for real this time?

According to People Mag, yes. A source told the outlet that this time it’s true: “Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family someday. She knows where George stands on that.” The source even claimed that the two “stopped being a couple several weeks ago.”

However, TMZ reports that a source close to the couple says they are “still living together,” and that the break-up rumors are caused by their hectic schedules, which force them to spend too much time apart.

So, what to believe?

We do know that the couple spent the 4th of July holiday apart…far apart. While George spent time relaxing on a boat near his villa in Lake Como, Stacy partied with girlfriends at a bash thrown by Hollywood manager Guy Oseary. Hmm. George retreating to Lake Como and Stacy partying with girlfriends? Sounds like post-breakup moves, right?

Only time -- and an official statement from one of their reps -- will tell. In any case, it sounded like they had a good time this weekend, ahem, celebrating their independence.

What do you think about George and Stacy? Are they already broken up or are they just going through a rough patch?
