Mix & Match

The mix and match trend always seems to be everyone's go-to each summer. Pairing your bikini top with a different color is a fun way to switch up your look. Using an accent color, like Julianne Hough did, you can combine a patterned top with a solid-color bottom. Also, it's a great way to mix and match all of your different bikinis!

Not a fan of tan lines showing? Ditch the bikini straps and go for a bandeau! The strapless top is perfect for keeping those obvious signs that you've been lounging in the sun to a minimum. Also, side note: Jessica Alba is channeling the mix and match, as well as the bandeau at the same time.

Panama Hats

The number one rule when it comes to hanging at the beach is to make sure you're being safe about it. Wearing a hat is kind of a must, but that doesn't mean you can't be stylish about it! A Panama hat gives that nautical-feel while you keep your face safe from those harmful rays. Bikini, coverup or casual, let's be honest -- this hat goes with anything!

White Coverups

People have always said, "If you've got it, flaunt it" but that doesn't mean you have to wear your bathing suit around all the time. A white coverup is perfect for, well, covering up! LeAnn Rimes rocks an adorable white romper while Selena Gomez -- obviously following the hat rule -- looks cozy and stylish in a loose white one. And Kendall Jenner keeps it simple with a white tie-up and matching white, flowy skirt.
