The TV host spoke about her experience with the star, from her in-depth interview to Lindsay’s eight-part docu-series airing on OWN. “All I can say about it is this: I believe that she believes that she is ready to move forward in her life,” she told Today’s Al Roker about Lindsay’s sobriety. “We’ll see.”

Of course, there have been those rumors floating around that Oprah will step in as Lindsay’s mentor, making sure to stays on the right path in her life. “I’ve heard a lot of thing about me mentoring me,” she said. “I will be involved in the production of it [the docu-series], and I will offer my advice and council to her if she is willing to receive it. When I finished the interview, I gave her one of my favorite books ... The Untethered Soul. And I've texted her a couple times since then. I'm anxious to see whether or not this young woman, who is a really, really fine actress, will be able to allow us into her life and let us see the trajectory of trying to put the pieces back together."
One thing that we’re hoping won’t affect Lindsay and her new, healthy life is an unneeded relationship, which according to RadarOnline, she’s had going on ever since she stepped foot at Cliffside in Malibu. A source says that the actress and an unidentified man sparked a romance during their stays, which resulted in him getting kicked out for the inappropriate relationship.
But the source, who was the man’s roommate at Cliffside, is claiming Lindsay’s new beau could be in it for the wrong reasons. “The guy was nice to her, but it was fake. He would talk s—t about her behind her back,” he said. “Lindsay basically bought his affection. One time she bought him like seven pairs of shoes online at one time!”
The couple are still together outside of rehab, so we’re hoping that Lindsay pulls her life together and stays focused.
