We haven’t heard much on how Amanda Bynes has been doing while she’s been hospitalized at UCLA Medical Center, which is probably a good thing. But the latest report is she’s been residing at The Canyon rehab center in Malibu for the past three weeks, according to TMZ.

Amanda’s parents, Rick and Lynn Bynes released a statement confirming their daughter’s stay in rehab. “Amanda was stuck with people in much worse condition than her. She was scared, afraid and did not leave her immediate room area. She is getting specialized psych care, one on one treatment, not drug rehab,” it read.

Amanda has been under close observation since late July when she was involuntarily taken into psychiatric evaluation, a 5150 hold, following the drive way fire she started. Shortly after, the court extended the two-week hold to an additional 30 days and her parents were granted a temporary conservatorship.

The Canyon rehab center specializes in treating addiction and mental disorders and according to sources, Amanda is still in a bad state. According to TMZ, she is currently under a special hold calls LPS, which leaves her without her wigs. She keeps to herself most of the time and doesn’t leave her area since she’s paranoid the paparazzi will find out where she is.

We continue to wish nothing but the best for Amanda and happy she’s getting the help she needs.
