After getting a listen of Miley Cyrus’ new single “Wrecking Ball,” we quickly became obsessed with the raw, honest track, especially when you compare it to “We Can’t Stop” and her twerk-filled VMA performance.
Well, she released the music video to go along with the heartbreaking tune and in it she strips down – physically and emotionally. And while starting off we thought she really was just going to be raw with the vid, she went ahead and started making out with a few random objects. Guess some things will never change. Oh, and she ditched her clothes because, you know, it’s Miley.

Beginning the video with a shot of Miley being vulnerable and honest, tears going down her face, singing the lyrics, “Don't you ever say I just walked away / I will always want you,” it quickly escalated to what we should have expected from her – shock value.
Yes, her tongue was out in full-force, all over chains and sledge hammers, she laid seductively on debris and she even went full nude as she swayed on a wrecking ball. Shot by famous photographer Terry Richardson, who is known to always push the envelope with his photographers, it’s no surprise that “Wrecking Ball” definitely pushes that envelope.
