Stars came together for a night of honoring the Point Foundation at last weekend’s “Voices on Point” event!
Victoria Justice, Carmen Electra, Bai Ling, G.R.L. and plenty of other stars gathered at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza last Saturday, September 7th to take part in the dinner and concert for the Point Foundation, which is the nation’s largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students of merit!
Throughout the evening, students and celebrities, like Bob Harper, Florence Henderson, Scott Evans and more got special performances from Melissa Manchester, Alex Newell, Richard Marz and G.R.L.
It was a successful evening for Point Foundation, as the event raised $400,000, making it the event’s most successful fundraiser in Los Angeles – ever!
“Talent and creativity flourishes when it has support and encouragement, and tonight’s Voices On Point event was a wonderful opportunity for our scholars to receive encouragement from accomplished artists they admire,” said Jorge Valencia, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Point Foundation. “Point is honored to celebrate the work and life of a great talent like that of Dean Pitchford. We are also tremendously grateful to our sponsors and everyone who came out to this evening to raise the much-needed funds that make it possible for us to help Point Scholars pursue their laudable aspirations.”
What an inspiring and exciting evening!
