Well, it’s clear – it there’s one movie you see this month it definitely should be Gravity, starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock. The space drama made its box office debut last weekend with record-setting numbers. It took the number one spot with $55.5 million, making it biggest non-sequel October debut – ever!

The Oscar contender was actually followed up with a sequel, with Cloudy of a Chance of Meatballs 2 at the second spot with $21.5 million. Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck’s poker thriller Runner Runner made its debut at number three with $7.9 million.

Coming in at number four was Prisoners with $5.7 million and Rush at number five with $4.5 million.
