New mom Jenna Dewan-Tatum chatted with Ellen DeGeneres about how the new parents are handling parenthood and according to her, Channing has a secret weapon to stop Everly from crying. “The baby is crying and you’re like, ‘What do I do to make her stop crying?’ and all of a sudden he [Channing] starts beatboxing and she starts cooing,” she explained. “I’m like, ‘What?’ I have been rocking her. I have been swaying her. I’ve been doing squats and he gets here and he’s like… I’m not going to do a really bad beatboxing but…” Please excuse us for a moment – we’re swooning over here.

Seriously? Channing is like the coolest dad ever. And apparently, he’s the best husband as well because Jenna told Ellen that he takes pride in his “amazing” diaper changing skills. “It’s like the one thing he knows he can do,” she said. “He’s like, ‘Let me get in there. Let me change those diapers.’ He’s amazing. It’s funny he’s so sensitive. He’s like this really strong, big guy in life but you give him this little boy and he’s like, ‘Oh my god… Is she going to drop? Am I doing everything okay?’”
