After one of the strangest and possibly funniest Twitter feuds went down a couple weeks ago because Kanye West and Jimmy Kimmel, we couldn’t wait to see what was going to go down when the rapper – excuse us, “messenger” – agreed to make peace on Jimmy Kimmel Live! It all started when Jimmy did a spoof based on Kanye’s extremely intense interview with BBC Radio 1 where he had kids reenact it all. One person who did find the skit too comical was Kanye who then let out a series of tweets, let’s the world know that he was completely ticked off at the late night host.
But Kanye agreed to appear on Jimmy’s show to prove that this definitely wasn’t a publicity stunt (Kanye doesn’t do those) and let bygones be bygones. What resulted was him going on a series of rants involving fashion, pop culture, music and the life of a celebrity and we’re pretty sure that these two kissed and made up. It’s kind of hard to tell since Kanye just looked angry throughout the entire thing.

Towards the end of their chat, Kanye did what he does best and let all of his feelings out, touching on taste, art, classism and how he can be seen as egotistical. "It's about truth, it's bout information, it's about awesomeness ... Taste, culture, art ... just the quality of life. This is what I'm here to do. So when I compare myself to Steve Jobs, or Walt Disney, Howard Hughes, David Stern, Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Jesus, I'm saying these are my heroes. These are people that I look up to. This is the type of impact I want to make on the Earth," he said.
While talking about paparazzi, he said, "When people hear my music, they have a good time. And I should be respected as such when I walk down the street. Don't ask me a question about something you saw in the tabloids. Don't try to antagonize me. Because you know what — it's not safe for you in this zoo. Never think that I'm not from Chicago for one second!"
