The entire cast and crew of Glee have been mourning the loss of Cory Monteith, who passed away from a drug overdose back in July and Lea Michele is speaking out for the first time to TV Week Australia. For her, it wasn’t just Cory who was taken from her life. “I feel like, for me personally, I’ve lost two people: Cory and Finn,” she explains.
Cory’s tribute episode of Glee airs tomorrow and the actress reveals that while she hasn’t seen the episode yet, there is one part that definitely hits close to home: when Rachel receives a plaque about Finn – a similar one that Cory had brought home from set. “He said, ‘This summer we are going to take it all over everywhere we go and take pictures of us with this plaque!’ and that’s what we did,” she says. “Then I got the script and thought it was so unbelievable that they chose to do that in the episode. So, for me, there are a lot of little things that are so special; everything means a lot to me.”

Cory was one of the most beloved actors in Hollywood and that’s one thing that Lea he’ll always be remembered for. “I really woke up every single day feeling like I was being in some sort of spell or something, I that I was lucky enough to have him in my life. I feel like what happened with Cory was this big,” she explains during her fingers to symbolize something small, “in the scheme of who he was and his life.”
She adds, “There was no greater man than Cory, so for the time we spent together I consider myself very lucky.”
No much is really known about Cory’s episode, expect that Finn will pass away and that they will touch on the subject of addiction. We’ll have to wait until tomorrow at 8 PM, but watch the touching promo below.
