Surprise! Miley Cyrus appeared on Saturday Night Live last weekend for a hot minute to announce her 2014 Bangerz tour! The only problem? Not only was she not hosting or the musical guest (Edward Norton took on hosting duties) it was kind of an awkward way to announce the news.
During Edward’s monologue, Miley and Alec Baldwin appeared to giving him some tips on hosting. But it pretty much turned into them plugging their new projects – Miley’s tour and Alec’s new show on MSNBC. And yes, we get why they did it but Miley’s part just seemed… weird.

In other Miley news, she’s graces the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine's December issue for the second time this year and opened up about how people seriously can’t stop talking about her. “Everything is so chaotic and crazy right now and it’s so much all at once, but I’m living for it,” she said. “I’m just having the best time ever and everything’s falling into place like it’s supposed to. Even people who want to hate on me, they can’t even shut down the fact that I’m literally what everyone is talking about.”
Continuing her humble brag interview, she had this to say about her MTV VMA performance: “What if I hadn’t done that performance? The VMAs would have been so bad. They would have been missing something.”
Oh, and what about the stars who dissed her performance? She’s not worried because, you know, she’s Miley Cyrus. “I don’t really care. I think everyone would have given anything to be me at that moment, because I was being one hundred percent true to myself… and not many people can say that,” she said. Someone give this girl a piece of humble pie please.
