Lady Gaga is heading to outer space – for work!
It’s being reported that she will be a part of a Zero G Colony music festival in New Mexico in 2015 and she’ll be heading to space to sing one track aboard the Virgin Galactic ship, according to Us Weekly. Gaga will become the first pop star to ever do such a thing.

The Zero G Colony is a three-day festival to take place at Spaceport America in New Mexico, which features world-class entertainment and technology. During the three days, Gaga will be making her space debut on the third day at dawn, but not without proper preparation. “She has to do a month of vocal training because of the atmosphere,” a source told Us. Oh, and don’t worry – her entire glam team will be by her side aboard the shuttle.
Knowing Gaga, we can only imagine what she’ll be pulling in space, but a source did say that it will be “like nothing the world has seen before,” and added that “Gaga has taken out a ridiculous life insurance policy.”
A number of other celebrities have signed up to be a part of the Virgin Galactic, which is set to take off six months prior to the Zero G Colony festival.
