Joe Jonas had a lot of people talking after he took us deep inside his life as a “Disney kid” and what really went down with his past celebrity relationships. One famous face who got a call-out in the New York magazine essay was his very-famous ex, Demi Lovato.

In the essay, Joe wrote about Demi’s “insane situation” back in 2010, writing, “I really got to know her and got to see the ins and outs of what she was struggling with, like drug abuse. I felt like I needed to take care of her, but at the same time I was living a lie, because I wasn’t happy but felt like I had to stay in it for her, because she needed help.”

Well, if you thought that Demi would be fuming over Joe airing her dirty laundry – laundry that she’s always been open and conversational about – you’re wrong. She tweeted, “@joejonas love you brother. #family/friendsforever.”

Demi was all about peace between the two, but her sister Dallas may not have felt the same way. She wrote, “Pathetic how people cute others down to get attention off themselves. Loser.” While no one’s 100 percent sure if that tweet was directed towards Joe, but let’s be serious – it obviously sounds like it.

Another person who wasn’t buying Joe’s “poor me” shtick was former Disney star Dylan Sprouse, who starred in Disney Channel’s The Suite Life of Zack and Cody with his twin brother Cole. While Dylan and his brother may have taken a break from the spotlight, as they’re both currently enrolled at New York University, he did head to his Tumblr to give his opinion on Joe’s New York magazine piece.

“First, I think it’s bulls—t that they were being robbed of choice or creativity,” Dylan wrote about Joe’s candid thoughts about working for the Disney brand. “If they wanted to, they could have told Disney, ‘NO.’ Cole and I did this hundreds of times and we ended up all right. The only reason they didn’t is because, like many of the people on that channel, I think they fell for the allure of fame.” Ouch!
