Emma Stone and Bill Murray just became even more awesome than they already are. While they’re currently in Hawaii filming Cameron Crowe’s latest project, they surprised troops stationed at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam for their annual holiday tower-lighting ceremony. Surprising the crowd of thousands, the actors thanked the community for all their support and being so kind to the cast and crew during filming. They also, of course, thanked them for all their hard work, dedicating time for their country.

Also, Bill informed the audience of St. Nicholas Day, telling them to leave their shoes outside so St. Nick could fill them with candy. No word on whether or not people actually did that. Regardless, this story is probably the sweetest story we’ll hear all day!

Emma and Bill, you guys rock.
