So imagine this: you’re riding the bus in New York City on a gloomy day in January. You’re on your way to work, filling kinda low and then two fellas in hooded sweatshirts walk on. Seems normal enough, right? But then, they stand up, hit ‘Play’ on a boombox, take off their hoods and bam – it’s Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

Well, for a group of lucky bus riders, this actually happened. Macklemore and Ryan surprised a crowd will a performance of “Can’t Hold On” on a NYC bus. It’s pretty amazing.

The surprise was all part of the “Music Unleashes Us” campaign to promote the 2014 Grammy Awards, airing on January 26th. While the unexpected bus riders seemed a bit confused at first, it didn’t take them long to get on their feet and take in the moment. We’ve never been more jealous of a bus ride.

2013 has been a big year for Macklemore and Ryan, as the two are nominated for number of Grammy’s, including “Album of the Year” for The Heist. They’ll also be taking the stage during music’s biggest night and we’re assuming it’ll be a bit different from their bus performance.
