So let’s be honest – Shia LaBeouf has a bit of a problem with plagiarism. He’s proved that plenty of times lately, including where it all began – by stealing the work of graphic novelist Daniel Clowes. And while he’s attempted at apologizing on Twitter (which was plagiarized) and even hiring a skywriter to apologize in the sky, Daniel is taking action against Shia.
Shia posted a cease and desist letter that he received from Daniel’s attorney, accusing him of plagiarizing – yet again – one of Daniel’s works Daniel Boring. This all started when Shia – being the "genius" that he is – posted on the storyboard for his next project called Daniel Boring. “Storyboard for my next short Daniel Boring. Its like Fassbinder meets half-baked Nabokov on Gilligan’s Island. Well, as it turns out, that was a complete rip-off.

In fact, not only was the whole concept of Daniel Boring a rip-off, but the description that Shia used was exactly what Daniel said to describe his project.
Daniel’s attorney addresses the copyright infringement, as well as saying, “Your clint is seriously out of control.” That, personal, is our favorite part of the whole letter. Because it’s true. What is with Shia lately?!
Daniel’s attorney continues to address the whole sky writing incident, saying, "We have been waiting since December 27 to hear how Mr. LaBeouf intends to make right, but all that has happened is further wrongful acts … and more foolishness such as Mr. LaBeouf's New Years' [sic] Day sky-writing frolic that exposed Mr. Clowes to further ridicule."
Shia, just stop. Seriously. You’re really just making yourself look more like a fool now.
What do you think about Shia’s actions?
And what about him posting the letter on Twitter?
