Jimmy Fallon kicked off his new gig as the host of The Tonight Show last night and he did not mess around. We already know he has a pretty impressive lineup of guests for his first week, but he pulled out the big guns for his first night, bringing the show back to New York City.

It all started with his guest Will Smith. Since Jimmy and Justin Timberlake’s “Evolution of End Zone Dances” was a viral hit, he brought the concept back as him and Will performed the “Evolution of Hip-Hop Dancing.” All we have to say is Jimmy, please don’t ever try twerking again.

With Will and the night’s musical guest, U2, you’d think that Jimmy would be completely satisfied with his first night at the new job. But nope, he went even bigger. Talking to the camera, Jimmy said, “To the friend who said I would never host The Tonight Show – you know who you are – you owe me $100.” That friend he was talking about wasn’t just any ordinary person. In fact, it wasn’t just one person – more like a dozen.

Walking out from behind the curtain, one by one with $100 bill in hand, was Robert De Niro, Lady Gaga, Tina Fey, Mariah Carey, Kim Kardashian, Tracy Morgan, Seth Rogen, Lindsay Lohan, Sarah Jessica Parker and more. But the best part? Stephen Colbert dumped 1,000 pennies on Jimmy, saying, “Welcome to 11:30, b—ch!”
