Yikes! Robert Downey, Jr. was NOT happy with Channel 4 News reporter Krishnan Guru-Murthy while promoting The Avengers: Age of Ulton. But what was it that made Robert get up and walk out mid-interview?

It all started with Krishnan started asking about Robert’s comments he made to the New York Times in 2008 about how his political views changed while he was in prison years ago. Robert wasn’t thrilled to have it brought up considering he was there to promote his film – not talk politics. Take a look – it all starts to get uncomfortable around the 5:00 mark.

Once Robert felt like Krishnan was going too far with his questions, he asked, “Are we promoting a movie? I’m not going to backpedal on anything I’ve said.” But it was when the host kept pushing on his “dark times” that made Robert say, “Bye!” and get up mid-interview. Before he left the room, he told Krishnan, “You seem cool. It’s just getting a little too Diane Sawyer.”

This isn’t the first time Krishnan has upset someone during an interview. Back in 2013, Quentin Tarantino wasn’t as nice as Robert when asked about his thoughts on violence in films and how it affects people in real life. Check it out.

What are your thoughts on how Robert handled the interview?

And was Krishnan out of line?
