Ariana Grande is putting people in their place left and right! In the same day, she stood up to radio DJ’s for sexist comments and took a stand against body shaming on Twitter. Get it, Ari!

First, it started when Ariana stopped by Power 106 in Los Angeles to chat her new single “Focus” and her upcoming album. But when asked if she had to choose between her cell phone and makeup, Ariana made it clear that she wasn’t having any of it. “Is that what you think girls have trouble choosing between?” Although the radio DJ’s tried to prove their point that girls spend way more time on their phone than guys do, Ariana definitely put them in their place.

But it wasn’t just the phone/makeup comments – they also decided to say that guys don’t use the new unicorn emoji and once again, Ari preached about equality.

Then, Ariana proved to be even more of a badass by shutting down a Twitter troll who criticized her for being “too skinny.” Someone on Twitter wrote, “Got asked if I’d prefer @arielwinter1 or @ArianaGrande lol, it wud DEFINITELY be @arielwinter1 curves are sexy sticks aren’t.”

Ari responded by writing a lengthy response and tweeted, “here we go again… Sure I’m not the only 1 feeling this way today!! In case you need a reminder, you’re beautiful.”

Modern Family star Ariel Winter, whose body was compared to Ariana’s in the tweet, responded the singer by writing, “Thank you @ArianaGrande. Women should empower one another. Celebrate each other – you’re all beautiful… Put love out there and it will come back to you. I read your tweets & you all inspire me. Remember you’re amazing.”

Well said, Ariana and Ariel!
