It's Hollywood’s biggest night, and the stars have certainly come out in force. Tonight brings so many questions about who will take home awards, but you know me... I am all about the fashion, and the 2016 Oscars red carpet brought the good, bad, and down right ugly. I'm breaking down my Best and Worst Dressed of the Night...so here we go!

Let’s begin with the good...

ALICIA VIKANDER IN LOUIS VOUITTON

Alicia was the one of the first to step onto the carpet, and looked absolutely stunning. As the face of Louis Vuitton, it was only fitting that she wore the designer for her first Academy Awards. Alicia looked like a true movie star in this high-low,  pale-yellow gown complete with a chic half-up bu, and simple makeup… just beautiful. The Danish Girl star has been my absolute standout for best-dressed lady across this entire awards season. She really is a true fashionista!

SAOIRSE RONAN IN CALVIN KLEIN

Saoirse Ronan took her style to the next level on tonight's red carpet. The Irish beauty wore a sexy, emerald green, cut-out dress from Calvin Klein that looked amazing on her skin... which we saw more of last night, than Saoirse usually shows on carpets, and I kind of loved it. Her easy hair and makeup were perfectly on point with the look.  The only thing about this look I wasn’t sold on, were the mismatched earrings. Not my favorite, but I still think the look was an overall success.

OLIVIA MUNN IN STELLA McCARTNEY

Apparently orange really is the new black because Olivia Munn absolutely rocked the color in this Stella McCartney dress. Neither Stella nor Olivia are know to shy away from fashion risks, and this was definitely a combination made in style heaven. From the bold color choice to the asymmetry with the one-shoulder, and the orange lip and simple hair, Olive brought her A-game. Flawless.

MARGOT ROBBIE IN TOM FORD

Margot Robbie channeled Oscar in this gold custom Tom Ford dress. She looked the perfect combination of elegant and sexy with the snake skin details on the dress, natural hair and make-up, and that statement black clutch complete with a train-like long tassel.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE IN DIOR

Jennifer Lawrence is the face of Dior, and sometimes that been good to her and other times, not so good. Tonight, however, JLaw stepped out onto the carpet in this gorgeous semi-sheer gown. I think Jen knew that she wasn't going to win, and wanted something easy and beautiful, and she nailed it with this dress, hair and make-up. I loved everything.

RACHEL McADAMS IN AUGUST GETTY

Nominee Rachel McAdams was definitely my best-dressed of the night.  Rachel brought out the glam in this emerald-green August Getty Atelier gown. The former Mean Girl is having a major fashion moment this season, and definitely stepped up her game tonight.

CHRISSY TEIGEN IN MARCHESA + JOHN LEGEND IN PAUL SMITH

My award for "Most Stylish Couple" definitely goes to Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. While they both look great, I don't even care about what they're wearing (...in case you do, she's in Marchesa, and he's in Paul Smith), they are just #RelationshipGoals, and I love them.

And as is life, sometime things go a little awry.

So, we move on to the not so good...

BRIE LARSON IN GUCCI

It has undeniably been the year of Brie Larson, but even "it girls" miss some times. For the most part, Brie has looked great throughout awards season, but I was definitely not a fan of this blue, ruffled Gucci gown. It was just too much with the ruffles, the netting, that belt... and her boring hair and makeup didn't do her any favors. I found the whole look to be highly under-whelming, and too old for her. Sorry Brie, I love you... but no no no.

HEIDI KLUM IN VERSACE

Sometime I think Heidi Klum is seriously just messing with us.  The woman is gorgeous, but she commits some epic crimes against fashion and tonight was no exception.  In this one-sleeved, purple Versace frock, Heidi looks like she just came from a very unfortunate bout of bridesmaid duty.

LADY GAGA IN BRANDON MAXWELL

Unfortunately, Lady Gaga did not win on the carpet for me with this strapless, white jumpsuit by Brandon Maxwell. For me, the whole look was just unflattering from the cut, to the cape, to the certain desert animal's toe that kept appearing. I wasn't a fan of her hair and makeup, but I did hear a rumor that she was wearing $8 million worth of jewelry, so that's something.

KATE WINSLET IN RALPH LAUREN

You might say, I was not a fan of this last look. I love Kate Winslet, but honestly, this Ralph Lauren dress makes her it look like she stepped out in a trash bag. I usually love Kate's carpet choices, and while she looked beautiful from the neck up, this dress was not flattering or cute at all.

That's it for me. What were your best and least favorite looks of the night?  You with me? Or do you have different thoughts? Let me know in the comments below!

Until next year!
