Britney Spears was involved in a minor car accident yesterday afternoon. She was driving her Mercedes-Benz SL65 when she rear ended a Ford Explorer in Beverly Hills.

Witnesses say that her body guard was riding in the passenger seat and gave a business card to the woman driving the Explorer. The woman followed Britney back to her house were they proceeded to exchange information.

“Britney was stopped at a light and, for some reason, accelerated when the light was still red, hitting the Explorer stopped in front of her, causing minor damage,” says one bystander.
“I think she was just distracted. She just tapped the other car in front of her,” says another.
