Fellow music legend Celine Dion is just like the rest of us and is left shocked and saddened at the loss of Whitney Houston.

She called into ABC’s Good Morning America this morning where she spoke to Robin Roberts about her sadness of the news and how drugs could have been the main cause.

“Whitney’s been an amazing inspiration to me,” Dion said. “I’ve been singing with her my whole career, actually. I wanted to have a career like hers, sing like her, look beautiful like her."

It was a sad and shocking day yesterday when news broke that legendary singer Whitney Houston had passed away at the age of 48. The music icon was loved and adored by many, so the news of her death was a tough one to take in. A rep for the 48-year-old singer confirmed the heartbreaking news to the Associated Press, but details surrounding her death remain unclear. TMZ sources claim she was found at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in her room by members of her entourage.

Family and friends paid their final respects to Nick and Aaron Carter’s 25-year-old sister Leslie this past weekend, who died last week of an apparent drug overdose.

While the funeral, held in upstate New York, included all her loved ones, one member of the family was noticeably absent – Nick Carter.

Carter released a statement to TMZ about not showing up to the ceremony and performing a concert in Bala Cynwyd, PA instead. 

It was a sad day yesterday for Nick Carter and his family after his sister Leslie passed away at the young age of 25.

While it was unknown at the time what exactly caused the death, it’s been reported that it was an overdose of prescription drugs.

E! Online is reporting that according to a police report, there were three prescription drugs found near the 25-year-old’s body.

The family is grieving the loss of a beloved daughter, sister, wife and mother in upstate New York.

"Our family is grieving right now and it's a private matter. We are deeply saddened for the loss of our beloved sister, daughter, and granddaughter, Leslie Carter," the Carter family said in a statement.

Demi Moore is really looking to take the time to turn her life around after her recent hospitalization. Moore's rep has confirmed to Deadline that she has dropped out of her role in the upcoming film, Lovelace.

Although the actress only had a small part in the film, playing feminist author Gloria Steinem, she has already started work on the flick and will now have to be re-cast.

Heather Locklear has been hospitalized after digesting a scary mixture of prescription drugs and alcohol, causing her sister to feel it necessary to call paramedics!

According to TMZ, the actress' sister called the ambulance on Thursday afternoon when she feared her sister was in danger from consuming the toxic mixture. After medics examied Locklear, they determined she needed to be hospitalized.
