Hilary Duff is on the cover of next month’s Allure magazine, (the issue is out April 22nd). In her interview she discusses Avril Lavigne’s comment when she called Hilary a “Mommy’s Girl.”Hilary tells Allure,

“I said something about about how she didn’t like her fans dressing like her, and how she should appreciate that because it’s a compliment. She called me a goody-goody.”

I really think Hilary is just avoiding the entire conflict here and playing the nice girl role again. Granted, she is a sweet girl, everyone who meets her simply raves about how down to earth she is. But I feel like these comments aren’t exactly what Hilary would have wanted to say to Avril. Maybe she really wanted to say something about how Avril is just jealous of Hilary’s success, seeing that she is a pop star, actress and business entrepreneur. Or maybe it was to express her condolences about Avril’s trouble selling her tickets to her latest tour…I think they were going for as cheap at $8! That sounds a bit desperate.Either way, I think Hilary took the high road and chose not to fuel this teeny-bop feud any more. And she looks amazing in the pictures I’ve seen so far, so take that, Avril!

I never thought that I would see the day when Avril Lavigne would be on the cover of Maxim. But the day has come and she is showing us her sexy side.

Here are a couple of questions from the interview:

What can we expect from your upcoming world tour?
I’m so excited because with three records under my belt, I have a lot of singles that people are familiar with. This will be a much bigger production than anything I’ve ever done. The color for this album is pink, so I’ll be playing a pink piano, and there’s a pink drum kit and a bunch of dancers. It’s gonna rock.

In your last interview with Maxim, you were all about clubbing and doing Jäger shots. Is that still a typical night out?
I enjoy partying, sure. But I’m really enjoying wine now. I signed up to be on this wine list where they send you stuff that isn´t sold in stores. I´m a wino now. Last night we drank some Opus One.

Topping the list is 22-year-old professional basketball player LeBron James with earnings of $27 million.

Those that make the top five are football player Reggie Bush, 22, with $24 million, tennis star Maria Sharapova, 20, with $23 million, golf prodigy Michelle Wie, 18, with $19 million and fashion icons Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, both 21, having earned $17 million.

Film star Hilary Duff, 20, was ranked #7 with $12 million, Avril Lavigne, 23, made the list with earnings of $12 million at #8, Keira Knightley, 22, was ranked #10 with $9 million, Carrie Underwood, 24, with $7 million at #11, Scarlett Johansson,23, was ranked #12 with $5 million, Mischa Barton, 21, was ranked #13 with $4.5 million.

The youngest star on the list, Dakota Fanning, 14, was ranked #14 earning $4 million, the rest of the Harry Potter crew, Emma Watcon, 17, and Rupert Grint, 19, ranked #15 and #16 both earning $4 million each, including $3 million from major films while Hannah Montana star Mile Cyrus, 15, was ranked #17 having made $3.5 million largely from the sale of her album, Lindsey Lohan, 21, was ranked #18 with #3.5 million, and Mandy Moore, 23, was ranked #29 with $3.5 million.

There definitely is something wrong with this picture and it is not just Avril’s hair. Paris and Avril friends? Um yeah, I never saw this one coming and I’m sure no one else did. They are complete opposites. I mean Paris is a dolled up party girl while Avril is a married punk rock, don’t care what I look like, tomboy. This is some sort of publicity stunt or something for the tabloids, right?  

Avril Lavigne was walking out in L.A. sporting some unfamiliar cleavage. I thought this girl was pretty much flat, but these bras they’ve been developing say otherwise. This is amazing. I congratulate whoever invented this bra. My penis and I thank you. Unless she got a boob job, in which case, good work plastic surgeon man. Say thank you penis. “Thank you!” Whew, typing with that thing is harder than it looks.
