Despite requests from his girlfriend, Camila Alves, Matthew McConaughey refuses to hire a nanny. A source said,

If Matt could breastfeed the baby himself, he would. The house is getting messier and neither Matt or Camila are getting much sleep. Camila wants to hire someone but Matthew strongly objects-he thinks at least for the first few months he and Camila should be the only ones caring for Levi.

I am all for not hiring a nanny but he can at least hire Camila a housekeeper. We all know he can afford one. However, it’s refreshing to see  Hollywood parents taking care of their child themselves, unlike Tori Spelling other celebrities that hire baby nurses and full time nannies. I believe some of the strongest bonds are made during those 3:00am feedings.

Did you hear about “Tulula Does the Hula?” Talula Does the Hula is a 9 year girl who lives in Hawaii; she just recently received a court ordered name change. The judge stated,

“The court is profoundly concerned about the very poor judgment which this child’s parents have shown in choosing this name…It makes a fool of the child and sets her up with a social disability and handicap, unnecessarily.”

All I have to say is, WOW! This judge would have a field day in Hollywood. You thought Rumer Glenn, Scout Larue and Tallulah Belle were bad names? Take a load of these. I tried to keep it down to 50, but there was no way I could let some of these go unnoticed; and, there’s no doubt I could reach the hundreds. I won’t bother putting them in any order. You can be the judge of who’s child has the worst name, but they are all pretty heinous. Seriously, they’re real.

According to an interview with House Call with Dr. Sanjay Gupta on CNN, Matthew McConaughey has saved the placenta from Levi’s birth and plans on planting it in his yard.

McConaughey said,

It’s going to be in the orchards, and it’s going to bear some wonderful fruit. When I was in Australia, they had a placenta tree that was on the river…and all the placentas of all that tribe, all that clan, whatever aboriginal tribe that was, all the placentas went under that one tree and it was this huge behemoth of just health and strength. This tree was just growing taller and stronger above the rest of Mother Nature around it. It was gorgeous.

Now, I have heard some crazy things come out of the mouths of celebrities, but this one really takes the cake. Who (not belonging to an aboriginal tribe) uses their child’s placenta as fertilizer? However, I would like to try a piece of that fruit….just to see if the placenta makes a difference.

So how is the Jolie-Pitt clan holding up since the twins arrival?  Angelina told People magazine, “It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time.  [Shiloh] and Z pick out [the twins'] clothes and help change and hold them.  It’s sweet - they are little mommies.”

“It’s still a cuckoo’s nest,” added Brad.

I can only imagine the chaos that six kids can bring, but Brad and Angie must love chaos….they are already talking about having more kids.

Just three weeks ago, on June 29th, Thomas Beatie became the first legally recognized transgender man to give birth. Thomas and his wife Nancy welcomed a 9lb 5oz baby girl into their family. They named her Susan Juliette, after Thomas’ mother. Thomas told People magazine that,

She’s so precious, I just can’t stop staring at her. Just holding her is the best feeling in the world. Susan is a miracle! And we’re finally the family we’ve been dreaming of.

She is very precious, but how do you think Thomas would react if his beautiful daughter decided to become a man too?

Daddy Cash wanted his little girl to look like him:

The two agree their daughter looks more like dad than mom, which is a big relief to Cash. “I want her to look like me, because a daughter looking like Jessica, I’d kill myself!” he jokes.

The couple were meant to be parents:

It sounds like both Jessica and Cash were born to be parents. “Cash is such a good husband and father,” Jessica says. “I’m so proud of him.” As for the actress, she’s “always had a motherly quality,” Cash says.

Jessica loves being a mom:

“I just want to squeeze her and hug her so tight,” Jessica gushes

More kids for Jess and Cash?

“We definitely want more kids — within the decade!” Cash exclaims.

Angelina Jolie and her newborn twins have been released from the hospital.

Hospital spokesperson, Nadine Bauer told People magazine that,

Angelina Jolie left the Clinic Santa Maria of Fondation Lenval early in the morning of July 19th.  The mother and babies are doing very well.

Despite numerous reporters and photographers camped outside, the Jolie-Pitts were able to leave the hospital unnoticed around 4:00am Saturday morning.  At 9:00am Dr. Michel Sussmann told the reporters, “You can go home now.  The story is over.”

The story may be over for reporters, but for the Jolie-Pitts its just the beginning.  Many people thought that Brad was just another fling for Angelina and now 3 years later they welcome Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt to their family.  Knox and Vivienne have now joined their 4 siblings- 6 year old Maddox Chivan, who’s birthday is coming up August 5th, 4 year old Pax Thien, 3 year old Zahara Marley, and 2 year old Shiloh Nouvel at their new home in Correns, France.

I hope they release their pictures soon…I can’t wait to see what the twins look like.  I am sure that they are just as beautiful as the rest of Brad and Angelina’s children.

After making a stink about deciding not to sell their baby pictures…and then changing their minds, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren gave the exclusive rights to OK! magazine to publish the first photos of their baby girl, Honor Marie.

Here is some of the interview from the proud parents:

On giving birth: “I didn’t scream. It was really Zen. The labor was more like meditation, I did yoga breathing. I was focused.”

On baby Honor Marie Warren: “It hasn’t totally sunk in. She dreams, she smiles, and coos and does all these things, but she hasn’t seen enough of the world yet to understand any of that stuff. So I still feel like she’s connected to the other world, or something. There’s no other way to explain it. It’s a miracle.”

On getting back into shape: “I started working out last Thursday, but for 20 minutes. I do cardio on my own. I’m doing it slow. Now I’m starting to eat more healthy. Because after working out, having fried chicken and mashed potatoes is a little counteractive.”

So who does Honor look more like?

“She looks like a girl version of me,” Cash says. “She has my nose, my eyebrows and my…”
“Forehead and dimples,” Jessica finishes, adding, “She has my mouth when I was a baby. And my ears.”
“Maybe Honor is a mixture,” Cash reconsiders. “I want her to look like me, because a daughter looking like Jessica, I’d kill myself!”

Awww… the baby is cute! I bet they are glad they sold the pics, ya know, in case Jessica wants to retire from acting or something.

In her first time interview as a new mom, Jamie Lynn discuss with OK! magazine her labor pains, what her first week of motherhood has been like and how her fiance, Casey Aldridge, came up with their daughter’s name.

On waiting for the big moment at the hospital:

“Once I got in there, my doctor was just so calm and so good it was not bad at all,” she says. “I was just talking to Casey. And you know what’s so weird? I was asking him if he was okay. He was like, ‘Yeah.’ We were both so excited.”

“They’d told me it would be an eight- to 12-hour labor, and I was ready to have the baby in three to four hours,” Jamie Lynn tells OK!. “I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed.”

On Baby Maddie’s routine:

“She is very good,” says Jamie Lynn. “She’ll feed every two or three hours. When she wakes up in the middle of the night, I’ll feed her and she goes right back to sleep. There’s no screaming and crying.”

The proud mama continues, “We get up in the morning, and she gets her little bath. Then I get my bath. We have a routine, and I love routines. I’ve worked one out with her, and we’re happy going about our little life.”

On how Casey came up with the baby’s name:

“Maddie is a name that Casey thought of, and I really liked it,” Spears told OK! “Briann was because, a week and a half before she was born, one of Casey’s cousins, who he was really close with, passed. He was in a car accident. His name was Brian. She’s also named after my older brother, Bryan Spears. We just added another ‘N’ to it and made her Maddie Briann,” Spears told the mag.

Although Jamie Lynn entered show business at a young age, like most celebrity parents, they wish for something else for their children.

“I hope she has good friends, finds a hobby that she loves and is really sure of herself and knows exactly what she wants to do. And I want to better myself, so that I can make her life better.”

Lynne Spears has been helping her daughter take care of her new baby since her arrival. She also talked to Ok! and said that she thinks that Jamie Lynn will be a very good mother.

“She’s warm and nurturing. And the most fun time will be when she’s the soccer mom, the carpool mom. That was the most fun I had as a mother,” she told the magazine.
