Bristol Palin, the daughter of Sarah Palin, is pregnant.  Sarah Palin, who was named John McCain’s running mate last week, issued a statement regarding her teenage daughter pregnancy to rebut lies that her son Trig is actually her grandson.  Sarah Palin said,

We have been blessed with five wonderful children who we love with all our hearts and mean everything to us.  Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned.  As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support.  Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family.  We ask the media, respect our daughter and Levi’s privacy as has always been the tradition of children of candidates.”

That had to be heartbreaking news to the McCain staff.  I wonder if he knew about the pregnancy before he chose Palin as a running mate.  Do you think this is going to affect his campaign?

The tabloids attacked Ashlee Simpson, saying that she was so unhappy with her pregnancy weight gain that she went to Planet Blue and bought six pairs of size 0 jeans.  Well, Ashlee says that is not true and responded with a Myspace blog saying,

Today I read on a blog that I went to the doctor and he said I was overweight and I cried and went to Planet Blue(because I was blue) and bought 6 pair of size 0 jeans.  Now it is ridiculous to read such nonsense about oneself so I thought I would address this one….

1. My doctor says I am right on target with my weight gain

2. Have not been to Planet Blue in at least two years

3. Love my maternity jeans…they have stretchy tops it is awesome!

4. My closet full of size 0’s are being worn by Pete right now and he looks hot in them

So now that I have cleared that up let me tell you…carrying a child is the most inspiring, emotional, amazing experience of my life.  My weight and my pant size are the absolute last thing I am concerned about.  I am only concerned with having a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.  People who talk and judge pregnant women’s weight need to get a life!!!

I have to agree with Ashlee, people who talk and judge a pregnant women’s weight do need to get a life.  Not everyone can be like Nicole Kidman, who never even looked pregnant at all.  What do you think…has she gained enough weight to be unhappy?

Yea, Eva Longoria definitely looks pregnant. She is seen here showing off her baby bump on the set of Desperate Housewives.

In a recent interview she confessed that she was packing on some weight as a requirement for her role as Gabrielle Solis on D.H. and she also expressed her desire to have children with husband Tony Parker.

“Longoria, who plays the usually glamorous, slim, sexpot Gabrielle Solis, has been wolfing down pizza and pasta - and it shows. Her figure - still waif-like by ordinary standards - is, by Hollywood’s rather more rigorous criteria, a little rounder than usual.
‘I’ve been cooking and eating, cooking and eating,’ admits the actress, who is married to basketball player Tony Parker. ‘I’ve eaten pretty much everything in sight.’
So, as indelicate as it seems to ask the beautiful Ms. Longoria the ‘fat or pregnant’ question, she clearly has some explaining to do. ‘I’d love to have a family,’ she begins tentatively.
‘I’ve always wanted to be married with kids. I almost had a checklist in my head: Career? Check. Marriage? Check. Kids? Check. I can’t wait!’
She refuses to say whether she is pregnant or not. ‘There’s always something people are asking you,’ she says. ‘When you’re dating someone, it’s, “When are you going to get married?”
Then you get married and it’s, “When’s the baby?” Then you have a baby and it’s, “When’s the divorce?” So I guess I should count myself lucky we’re still at the “When’s the baby?” stage.’

There’s no doubt a baby is on the way. I think that the change of plot in Desperate Housewives is supposed to fool us. But maybe the change is to help her hide her baby bump, perfect timing, it wouldn’t effect her work at all.

Former porn star Jenna Jameson has been trying to get pregnant with Ultimate Fighting Champion boyfriend Tito Ortiz for sometime now and they have finally done it.

Page Six reports, “She had a bunch of meetings and things planned for Fashion Week, including meetings for her own line, but she’s postponed everything,” said the Page Six source. “She’s completely thrilled, this is something she’s wanted for a very long time.”

Jameson miscarried during her marriage to Jay Grdina, whom she divorced in 2006. She also failed once before with in vitro, according to Page Six.

Jameson had told US magazine earlier this year, “I think I’m gonna stay unmarried, and just go for the babies! I’m following in Angelina [Jolie]’s footsteps. We’re trying for a baby, so hopefully in the next couple of months.”

The rumors are true!! Jennifer Garner is expecting, according to former “Alias” co-star Victor Garber, who broke the news to US Magazine’s website. She did a good job hiding it also as she is 5 months along. This is baby number two for Jennifer and Ben Affleck, making little 2-year old Violet a big sister.

Congrats to the happy couple!

From a young age, most of us learn what we can and can’t realistically get away with. Ashlee Simpson, however, is not one of these people.

A spokesperson for the Lenval Hospital in Nice has confirmed that Angelina Jolie has been admitted.

Spokesperson Nadine Baur said that the admittance had been planned for a while and that Angelina will stay at the hospital until the twins are born.

Baur stated, “There’s no urgency. It’s been planned for a long time. She’s very well. Everything is fine.”

It is safe to assume that the twins will be in France for a while before making their U.S. debut. Brad, Angelina and their four children just settled into their recently purchased home on the French Riveria.

The twins are sure to be a beautiful addition to the Jolie-Pitt family.

Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney revealed that she was expecting her second child.

On Monday June 22, Sweeney told the cast of Biggest Loser season 6 that she is expecting her second child.

She told them that, in a season all about family, hers is about to get bigger, said Carrie Simons, Sweeney’s rep, to People magazine.

Sweeney also has a 3-year-old son, Ben, with her husband Dave Sanov.

According to the National Enquirer Britney Spears’ little sister, Jamie Lynn has just given birth to a baby girl!!

Congrats little momma!

Jamie Lynn was spotted at Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS. at 4 a.m. today.  She delivered via C-section at approximately 8:30 a.m. (CST). The baby weighed in at 6lbs 10oz.

She was brought in by doctors when an ultrasound revealed last week that the baby was in breech position.

Jamie Lynn is a whopping 17 years old.  Big sister Britney flew in last night to be with her.

Momma and baby are doing well and resting in her recovery room.

Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott welcomed a baby girl named Stella Doreen McDermott weighing in at 6lbs and 6oz. Stella arrived this afternoon just after 3pm via C-section. Little Stella joins big brother Liam, who just turned 1 in March. This is the second child for Spelling, and third for McDermott who has a son from a previous marriage.
