Drew Barrymore & Justin Long Call it Quits

Posted on 08 July 2008 by CeCe

One of the cutest/funniest/lovable Hollywood couples (in my opinion) have hit splitsville.

Drew Barrymore & Justin Long Call it Quits

After dating almost a year, Drew Barrymore and Justin Long have reportedly broken up, according to People magazine.

Her rep told People:

“I can confirm the split with no additional comment.”

I don’t see where this went wrong. They both proclaimed how much the other meant to them: Barrymore in the March issue of Vogue, and Long, who appeared with Barrymore on The Oprah Winfrey Show, showered her with praises.

I mean, if you tell Oprah those things, I think that means a lot in the realm of Hollywood relationships.

Obviously they had their fair share of problems, which is sad, because I really liked them together and I think Drew deserves a great guy!

Above all, I just hope this doesn’t get messy. There’s nothing worse than witnessing a big celebrity break-up splattered all over the media.  Remember Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston?  Horrible.

And it’s a good thing the movie that they co-star in, He’s Just Not That Into You, has finished filming- because that would be so awkward if they had to show up on set together.

But, sometimes in Hollywood two people just can’t stay away from each other.

Do you think they will get back together down the road or are they kaput for good?

Drew Barrymore involved in hit and run

Posted on 13 May 2008 by ksouthall

Drew BarrymoreSome jerk hit Drew Barrymore’s car Monday night and kept going! Drew was not injured when she was rear ended in West Hollywood, she did however take off after the guy when he failed to stop! Drew followed the car and took down the license plate number, which is what the cops need to track down the perp.

Police commented stating that no arrests have yet to be made and to caution others to not follow anyone in an attempt to procure your own justice as it could be dangerous. Luckily for Drew nothing happened.

Drew Barrymore on the cover of Vogue

Drew Barrymore on the cover of Vogue

Drew Barrymore appears on the cover of Vogue’s March issue looking very unrecognizable. She looks like a doll almost, no soul or feeling in her eyes. Needless to say, not my favorite picture of the beautifully talented Ms. Barrymore.

In the interview, Drew admits that although she has always worked hard, she likes to play hard too. She says:

“I think I had some mechanism in my head that said, ‘If you don’t pull it together for yourself, no one else will.’. . . That’s coming from a person who had to try it all . . . and who still loves to have a good time . . . I do believe in ‘Work hard, play hard,’ but ‘Work hard’ always comes first, and it did even when I was wild and young.”

Check the rest of Drew’s interview in the new issue of Vogue magazine.

Reese Witherspoon: The Highest Paid Actress in Hollywood

Posted on 30 November 2007 by Tammy Cakes

Yeah, she should be smiling. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Reese Witherspoon is the highest paid actress in Hollywood, with Angelina close behind.

1. Reese Witherspoon — $15 million-$20 million
2. Angelina Jolie — $15 million-$20 million (only $8 million for Beowulf)
3. Cameron Diaz — $15+ million
4. Nicole Kidman — $10 million-$15 million
5. Renee Zellweger — $10 million-$15 million
6. Sandra Bullock — $10 million-$15 million
7. Julia Roberts — $10 million-$15 million
8. Drew Barrymore — $10 million-$12 million
9. Jodie Foster — $10 million-$12 million
10. Halle Berry — $10 million

Although it seems that the actresses salaries have been going up within the last couple of years, the article states that some actresses will do a “no-quote” deals, meanining “don’t tell anyone I’m working this cheap,” in order to keep working. It seems that a lot of these women are doing these types of deals. I mean we haven’t seen any big hits from Drew Barrymore, Halle Berry, or Nicole Kidman in a while. I understand Jodie Foster being up there. At least you know when she makes a movie it will actually make some money.

The article also notes that newcomers on the rise in the paycheck stakes include Jennifer Garner, Rachel McAdams, and Katherine Heigl.
