It was revealed in Los Angeles probate court Tuesday, that Jamie Spears intends to sell his daughter’s, Britney Spears, home in the latest liquidation of her assets.

Back in March the court granted her father, Jamie Spears, the power to “sell or dispose of” an undisclosed number of her seven cars and Jamie remains in legal control of his daughter’s affairs until a July 31 hearing.

The house is located in the gated “Summit” community that was seen in the recent drama of the singer’s life back in January, when she was taken from the property in an ambulance and forced into a psychiatric hospital.

Spears bought her current residence in December 2007 for $6.7 million, according to the tax assessor. The Mediterranean-style villa measures 7,400 square-feet and has five bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, as well as a library, media room and maid’s quarters. A second floor balcony overlooks a huge open living room and kitchen with an adjacent screening room. There is also a pool and hot tub in the backyard.

It is not clear where Britney intends to move to, but she was spotted looking at a $5.6 million, 7,300-square-foot house (above) in the L.A. suburb of Encino, closer to the home base of ex-husband Kevin Federline and her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

A source close to Spears said, “Having more privacy and wide open spaces for her to raise her boys has been a goal for some time.”

In other recent news, another source told People magazine that Britney is set to head back to Louisiana this week to be by her pregnant baby sister Jamie Lynn, as she gets ready to welcome her first child with boyfriend Casey Aldridge.

The source says Jamie Lynn, 17, has “not been feeling well” recently, causing the family to push up their travel plans. Their father, their older brother Bryan and Britney’s assistant are all expected to make the trip, as well.

This rumor makes me a little sick to my stomach. Jamie Spears has supposedly offered Kevin Federline a good lump sum of money (Britney’s money no doubt) in order to get back together with his daughter Britney. I don’t quite understand why he would want that low life moocher to be part of his daughter’s life again. The guy doesn’t even have a job. I would think he would want a man who could actually love and take care of Britney not love and take care of her bank account. Anyways, here is the the article.

In an effort to sweeten the pot, Jamie has offered to open a company specializing in the manufacturing of Britney Spears merchandise. If Kevin agrees to take Britney back, Jamie will put him in charge of marketing “Brit clothes, dolls, and other items.”

“His latest offer is $4.5 million in cash and a trust account set up with another $5 million if Kevin moves back in with Britney within a year. If they actually remarry, Jamie will add another $5 million to Kevin’s account,” a Spear insider further reveals. “All in all, Jamie told Kevin, he’ll make out very well.”

But making out “very well” may not be enough for the Ultimate Male Gold-Digger. Kevin’s reportedly holding out for a $20 million payout offer from Jamie before he will agree to sweep his pop star ex off her feet once again:

Kevin has told Jamie that “if they remarry, there would be no prenup. Jamie’s not very happy about that. He thinks his offer is generous enough that Kevin should take it.”

Jamie Spears has given up his private catering business to take care of his crazy daughter, Britney, full time. He has decided to pay himself $10,000 for lost wages due to his fatherly duty of trying to keep her out of trouble. I say the man deserves it. Although Brit still has a lot improving to do, she certainly has come a long way due to her father’s help and guidence.

On Monday, the judge granted Jamie Spears permission to “sell or dispose of” an undisclosed number of his daughter’s seven unused cars.

Lawyers for Jamie Spears stated that the cost for maintaining the cars was too expensive that the sale of “a certain of” her cars “will save substantial expense to the conservatorship estate.”

Among the singer’s cars are two white Mercedes (a SL65 and a CLK350), a white Mini Cooper convertible, and a black Audi.

It sucks more and more to be Britney Spears. The girl that once had it all is now losing everything. What more will be taken from her, her house?

The National Enquire has reported that Britney Spears gets panty checked by her father every time she goes out. Jamie Spears is sick of the paparazzi taking crotch shots of his daughter and displaying them on the internet.

A source said, “Jamie makes sure to ask Britney if she has underwear on before she goes out.” He’s not the only one making sure that she is fully clothed. Brit’s assistant also makes sure she’s wearing a bra and panties, “Britney tries to ignore their requests, but her dad is adamant and insists she change if she’s falling out of her top.”

I really don’t understand why Jamie is doing the panty check. That’s kinda creepy. I would just have her assistant do it. Or maybe hire her a stylist that way she looks pretty and no one has to worry about anything hanging out. This would make us all happy!

Kevin Federline and Jamie Spears are not only ex-in-law golfing buddies, but they are soon-to-be business partners.

According to published reports, “K-Fed wants to take over a Mexican place in LA with him and Jamie as managers. The restaurant, called Casa Cordobes, has been a favorite of Kevin’s for a while. He ate there with Britney. Now the owner wants to retire he really wants to run it.

“Kevin and Jamie get along well nowadays and Jamie is keen to get back into the restaurant game…He still works as a private caterer, so he’s excited at the chance.”

Jamie Spears has reportedly been begging Justin Timberlake to help jump start Britney’s career again by performing in a series of concerts with her.  But Justin is refusing to perform with his ex.

Ah, so sad. But I think that Justin’s heart is in the right place. Maybe he is trying to tell Jamie that he doesn’t approve of Britney performing on stage again so soon. Although, I think that Justin is desperately needed in Brit’s life, it is more as a friend than as a business partner.

Maybe in due time, when Brit starts showing more signs of becoming healthy, Justin will step in and tour with her. But he is probably thinking what we all are. The girl just needs to rest and stay out of the lime light as much as possible. Touring will only enhance her psych problems, not make them go away.

It was reported last night that Jamie Spears was granted an extended conservatortship over Britney until at least July 31.

Today, it was released that during the duration of the conservatorship, Jamie will be receiving $2500 a week. Meaning that Jamie will be pocketing at least $50,000 for taking care of his troubled daughter while she tries to get her life back together.

In an addition, the court has allowed Jamie to lease one vehicle. I’m not sure why since her already has a car.

I’m thinking that Britney is not to happy with this decision. Where is the money coming from and why is Jamie getting paid? I don’t understand. It’s kinda screwed up and sick that Jamie needs to be paid a large some of money to take care of his child.  I mean he is part of the reason Brit is so screwed up in the first place and now he is getting paid for ruining his child’s life. Yeah I definitely don’t think that the court  has Britney’s best interest in mind at all. It is disgusting how her family is cashing in on her sickness.
