Last night Jessica Biel and her family’s Make The Difference Network (MTDN) hosted a very special holiday party to benefit Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.  The event was held at the ultra-swank Social in Hollywood.

Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, Alfonso Ribiero, Shane Sparks, Tiffany Price, Albert Gore Jr., Michael Pena, Nick Swardson, David Koechner, Malinda Williams, Current TV’s Max & Jason, Candice Cane, Ken Davitian, tennis pro Vince Spadea and US Figure skaters Derrick Delmore & Evan Lysacek were some of the stars that came out to support the Biel’s MTDN and CHLA.

But the guest of honor was 13 year-old Tianna Li, who looked very elegant, we must say, as she came to represent all of the beautiful children of CHLA.

The highlight of the evening was the live auction… the surprise co-hosts might have had a little to do with that. The crowd went wild when Justin Timberlake and comedian Kevin James entered the stage. Their back and forth banter was hilarious. Auction items included:

- A day of adventure with actor and former Navy Seal Geoff Reeves, includes skydiving, shooting guns, and enjoying dinner with the American hero

- Body sculpting session with personal trainer to the stars Jason Walsh. The proof is in the pudding: he trains the Biel family–perhaps the best looking family in Hollywood–Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Kate Beckinsale, and many more celebrity hotties.

- Limited edition print of the photo “Devil Proof” by Andy Katz, which ended by going to a generous bidder in the room for $17,000.

- Justin’s special experience of playing 18 holes of golf with him and golf pro Butch Harmon (Tiger Woods’ coach) in Las Vegas; plus a signed set of Caloway clubs.  As you would guess, this started a bidding war on it’s own, but when he generously threw in dinner with him as well, you can imagine the excitement that brought on.  One excited party guest asked Kevin James if he would participate in the golf outing with Justin and when he said yes, thunderous applause from the crowd ensued and Justin and Kevin worked their magic getting the experience to bring in over $35,000 for charity.

- Jessica’s special auction package, which includes walking the red carpet with her at the premiere of her film “Easy Virtue,” watching the movie and attending the after party–all with a guest of your choosing.  The winner also gets a gorgeous MZ Wallace handbag to rock on the red carpet.  The highest bidder in the room was actually an old high school friend of Jessica’s.

By the end of the night, over $75,000 was raised for CHLA. The online auction hosted by MTDN and Auction Cause will remain online at ebay.com/mtdn until December 18th. 100% of the proceeds will benefit Childrens Hospital Los Angeles… SO GO BID!!!

The auction was followed by a special performance by multi-platinum recording artist Alex Band of The Calling singing his hit song “Wherever You Will Go” and his cover of U2’s “One.”

So You Think You Can Dance finalist Twitch lit up the stage with a special dance and told the crowd about his touching experience meeting the children at CHLA.  Jaws dropped at avant-garde troupe StiltWorld’s performance of “Tall Tango,” a sexy and mesmerizing number on stilts, which was accompanied by Flamenco Hip Hop guitarist Tio and DJ Zo.

When your girlfriend or boyfriend makes a “delicious” meal especially for you, and you happen to have a dog next to you— maybe it is a good idea to let the dog taste the food to avoid digesting the unpleasant food in your stomach, but not so fortunate for the dog.

According to a source, Jessica Biel was trying to make a romantic meal for her boyfriend Justin Timberlake, but her cooking apparently was unsuitable to Justin’s taste.  As always being a nice and understanding boyfriend, Justin did not want to upset Jessica and praised her that her cooking was excellent.  When Jessica left him to run some errands, Justin could no longer consume the food anymore, and Jessica’s Pit Bull Terrier Tina became a convenient target.  He gave the remaining food to Tina, and as soon as Tina ate it, she threw up immediately.

Some rumors say that Justin is planning to propose to Jessica, but maybe it is time for him to stop a moment to think about if he really wants to do that.  He needs to figure out if he has the courage to eat Jessica’s food without using the dog as a substitute.

Jessica Biel is on the cover of the August 2008 issue of Harper’s Bazaar.
On being in a relationship: “the idea of being with somebody I care about, who’s my soul mate, that sounds groovy.”

On getting married: “The actual idea of signing those papers and doing all this stuff … I’ve never been someone who’s like, ‘I have to, have to, have to have it,’”

On having kids: “I think when you make a decision to have a family and children, everything else comes second,” Biel says. “But if I choose to have a family, I would hope to create a balance, because I don’t want to lose my sense of identity, my career, and my independence. Why can’t I have both? Why can’t I have everything? So many women do it.”

On being in shape: “I am the shape that I am. I feel no shame in it, you know what I mean? My mother always made me feel just great the way I was.”

On being an active kid: “We didn’t really have video games or watch TV. We were always camping. My brother and I spent all of our time outside,” she says. “Playing soccer. Doing gymnastics, skiing, snowboarding. That’s really how I grew up. So for me, being athletic and active is a way of life.”

Jessica Biel has joined the long list of celebs that now share their thoughts via blogs. Is this good or bad? I haven’t entirely decided yet.

She started blogging on her MySpace page while hanging out on the set of her latest movie, Nailed.

She writes that “not only do I feel cooler being an official blogger, but I’m also realizing that this is a perfect place to share some projects that I’m working on that I’m really excited about.”

I think it’s funny she feels cooler being an official blogger. Somehow that sounds so nerdy to me. But hey, if she thinking blogging is cool, then blog on!

So, those projects could mean you will be hearing about her production company, Iron Oceans Films, or the Make The Difference Network, which she co-founded.

Or, it could mean you will be reading about her latest movie.

But don’t expect her to be chatting openly about her relationship with boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

These two are pros at keeping their private lives private.

Relatively speaking, you rarely see them out in public and Justin wouldn’t even dish any deets about their relationship to Oprah.

I think Jessica’s new found calling as a blogger is a great thing for her. Looking at her MySpace page, she is really dedicated to a lot of causes that I hadn’t even heard of. I’m sure these organizations will be getting more attention now that Jessica is supporting them online.

Not to mention I’m sure the free publicity for the FOUR movies that are ready for release is something she had in mind, too. Very smart, Miss Biel!

But honestly, I never knew she was such an activist for all these causes. Good for her!

Anyway, look out for more blogs to come from Jessica in the future. And I wonder if she answers all the comments people leave on her page.

Rumor has it that Justin Timberlake is going to propose to girlfriend, Jessica Biel, any day now.

“ Justin is 27 and thinking about marriage and kids….There are the rumors about a baby being on the way.”

“For the first time in his life he is feeling settled and has definitely decided to pop the question to Jessica,” a tattle gushed in a new report from the British Daily Mail.

“He is so happy with her. They spent quite a bit of time apart recently when Justin was working with Madonna. That made him certain Jessica was the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.”

For the big day, Justin has already selected the West Indian island of Mustique as the ideal spot for the wedding. Since the island is owned by its resident’s, Justin and Jessica would be able to ban the paparazzi from crashing.

“….He feels his wedding is the one day that should remain private….To get all his close friends and family to Mustique will cost a fortune. But he can’t put a price on how he feels about Jessica.”

Engagement rumors have been spreading around about two celeb couples: Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel & Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo. Whether any of them are true, I don’t know.

According to some reports, Justin Timberlake is planning to propose to his actress girlfriend, Jessica Biel. The rumor was sparked after he was spotted shopping for engagement rings at Tiffany and Co.

“An onlooker” said: “Justin was really taking his time looking round the rings. He made the staff get a couple out of the cabinets so he could properly look at them.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if this rumor was true. Justin seems to get serious with his girlfriends fast. First Brit, Cameron, and now Jessica. I think the boy is just itching to get married.

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo are also rumored to be getting engaged soon.

According to Tony’s close friend Michael Starr, he told Us Weekly magazine: “I think they are going to get married.”

Also, one of Tony’s ex’s, One Tree Hill star, Sophia Bush said: “I think they could go the distance. They’re perfect for each other. They’re both funny and wonderful and kind. I’m really rooting for them.”

Jessica’s ex-husband, Nick Lachey, was asked what he thought about the rumors, he said: “I wish her nothing but happiness. If she has found that then good for her.”

However, a friend close to the couples says that this rumor is a publicity stunt to promote her up coming country album.

The pal told America’s OK! magazine: “I think it’s a press stunt. She always leaks information about her faux love life when she’s desperate to get her face on magazine covers!”

Insiders are whispering that Jessica Simpson’s manager dad, Joe, is the mastermind behind his daughter’s “romance” with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo - and their sudden, very public relationship may just be the setup for an attention-grabbing Super Bowl commercial!

“It seems that Joe set them up to make sure Jess got good publicity,” an insider tells Star. “She’s got a new country album coming out, but her movie career is stalled, so she’s doing what her dad tells her will be good for her image and to keep her name in the papers…”

[Jessica and Tony Romo are] reportedly in talks to Pizza Hut to do a special commercial that will air during the Super Bowl in February. And the insider tells Star that Joe Simpson even offered Tony, 27, a small role in his daughter’s next movie.

“He told Tony that it would be a good opportunity for both of them PR-wise,” says another source. “It isn’t hard for them to look like the perfect couple - they’re like a real life Ken and Barbie.”

I really don’t know if this rumor is true being that dating should have probably than started somewhere closer to Jessica’s album release date, not while the album is still in progress. They seem to really like each other. I hope it all works out.
