On Saturday night, Jessica Simpson got booed while performing her new country songs for an audience at a music festival in Wisconsin. Jess made her country debut at Country Thunder where she found transitioning from pop music to country a little harder than expected. Half of her audience cheered her on (those probably paid by Papa Joe) and the other half booed her profusely.

Kenosha News reports:

“Many audience members found her attempt to crossover into country irritating and that her vocals lacked a southern sound.

“I just don’t hear the country in her; I don’t hear the twang. She’s not good enough to be here,” said Adam Matos, 21, from Arlington Heights, Illinois.

One man summed her performance up in a single word.
“It’s crap,” said Ryan Sia, 28, from East Troy. “She doesn’t belong here.”

Jessica tried her best to win over her audience by making one of her retarded remarks:

“I don’t know what your perception is of Jessica Simpson or what tabloid you buy, but I just want you to know that I’m just a girl from Texas; I’m just like you. I’m doing what I love and dating a boy,” Simpson said.

Not only is PETA upset about the “Real Girls Eat Meat” shirt that Jessica Simpson sported, allegedly to diss Carrie Underwood, but Pamela Anderson is quite perturbed by it, as well.

PETA supporter, Pam Anderson, recently did a radio interview in Australia, where she’s waiting to go into the Big Brother house on July 9th, and was asked what she thought of Jessica Simpson.

Anderson responded, “I think she is a bitch and a whore.”

She explained herself by saying that it was because of her “Real Girls Eat Meat” shirt. Pam then added, “Actually, I don’t know if she was talking about food or men.”

She then expressed her pride in not eating meat, saying, “I think it’s healthy, good for your body and good for the environment.”

Anderson’s rep later insisted the star’s comments about Simpson were meant in jest: “she was joking.”

Jessica Simpson was caught the other day wearing a t-shirt that read “Real Girls Eat Meat” and it didn’t take long for PETA to jump on her back.

PETA is apparently pretty pissed that Jessica wore that t-shirt and released this statement:

For a gal who’s best known for her less-than-stellar brains (Chicken of the Sea, anyone?) and her ability to proportionately fill out daisy dukes, I’m gonna go on record saying that if anyone had to wear a ridiculous shirt like this, I’m glad it was Jessica—as people are more likely to follow the opposite of her lead … ya know, since she’s so well respected and all (yes, that was difficult to type without tossing in a hefty LOL). Maybe the meat-eaters of the world will be embarrassed to be categorized in the same field as Jessica Simpson.

PETA also goes on to list 5 reasons why only “stupid girls brag about eating meat.”

1. Meat increases the risk of breast cancer
2. Real girls don’t support animal abuse
3. The meat industry is destroying the Earth
4. Meat will make you fat
5. Eating meat steals food from starving kids.

Some people think that the reason for the t-shirt was to diss Tony Romo’s ex-girlfriend Carrie Underwood, who has twice been named World’s Sexiest Vegetarian by animal rights group Peta.

“Jess is sick of hearing about how Tony still has feelings for Carrie,” says the insider. “She’s obviously trying to poke fun at her rival and let her know who really has Tony’s heart.”

While Carrie hasn’t said anything about Jessica’s carnivorous tee, the folks at Peta released the following statement to OK!:

“Jessica Simpson’s meaty wardrobe malfunction makes us thankful that no one is looking to her for food advice. Chicken-of-the-Sea anyone? The woman who thought that Buffalo ‘Wings’ came from buffalos would benefit from some good veggie brain food.”

Carrie’s belief in vegetarianism is so strong, she once said, “If you told me I could never sing again, I’d say that was horrible, but it’s not my life. If you told me I could never be around animals again, I would just die.”

Now after her debut single was released to country music stations around the country last week, I’m deeply disturbed to report that the track debuted at number 41 on Billboard’s country single charts.

This means that Jessica is the highest charting debut solo artist in the history of Billboard’s country singles chart!

Yes, Jessica Simpson… the ‘horrible remake of these boots are made for walkin’ Jessica Simpson.

I wish this was a joke, but sadly I’m not kidding. Yea, I’m speechless too.

I don’t really listen to country music, but I could tell “Come On Over” wasn’t the best.

The previous record belonged to Miranda Lambert and Brad Cotter who both debuted at number 42.

Well you guys just got beat by Jessica Simpson– how does that feel?!

Upon hearing the news, Jess said,

Things just don’t seem like they are going Jessica Simpson’s way these days. Her younger sister is getting married this weekend, is probably pregnant (even though Ashlee denies it), and now it looks like her studly quarterback, Tony Romo, may have dumped her. But turn that frown upside down, Jess!

Us Weekly is reporting that the 27-year-old singer began tossing back cocktails Saturday at 4pm with pal CaCee Cobb and Cobb’s boyfriend Donald Faison (Clueless… Scrubs… yum!) at L.A.’s Mexicali Cocina Cantina.

After binge drinking for four hours, Jessica was so out of it that she had to leave her Range Rover parked in the restaurant’s parking lot and call her mom Tina for a ride home.

Now The Dallas Morning News is reporting that the rumors that Simpson and Romo have split are, indeed, true. Staff writer Alan Peppard claims “two people close to Tony and Jess have told me that the glam couple is over, kaput, splitsville, put a fork in it,” although he refuses to name names.

It’s hard to tell if this is legit seeing that neither Jessica or Tony have no confirmed the break up and multiple entertainment news shows are telling the opposite story. Extra and E! News are reporting that the rumors of the break up are false.

Um… but what about when Tony was in Chicago last Saturday with his boys and he told all them, “Me and Jessica are done.”

Seems pretty clear to me. I guess we will just have to wait and see who talks first!

I know this photo is inspired by an old photo, but it is just so weird.  Some photos taken in the past should never be reenacted,  and this is one of them. I think she is trying to out due Lindsay Lohan’s Marilyn Monroe photos, which didn’t look so hot either.
