A Los Angeles County Superior Court finalized Britney Spears and Kevin Federline’s custody agreement on Friday, July 25th. According to the court documents Britney will pay Kevin’s legal fees of $250,000, his child support payments will be increased from $15,000 to $20,000 a month and Britney will be granted more time with her kids.

Britney’s lawyer Laura Wasser said,

It was a victory for the whole family that they didn’t have to go to trial. I think they figured out a way to work together, to co-parent and make sure their kids will benefit from the results of that.

Kevin’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan stated,

The children are well adjusted. I only see them when they’re with Kevin. They are vibrant, happy, well-adjusted kids. Kevin is just delighted to have this ordeal over. He is greatly relieved and very happy this worked out.

Ummmm, ya, of course he is delighted, he was just awarded $250,000 in legal fees and $20,000 a month in child support. I would be delighted too. Now he has 16 1/2 years to figure out how to rap or find a new rich woman to have kids with.

Britney Spears enjoyed an overnight visit with her boys, Jayden James and Sean Preston, at her Los Angeles home on Saturday, June 28th. This was first overnight visit granted Spears since her hospitalization at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles back in January. The boys were dropped off Saturday and picked up around 10 a.m. Sunday.

A source described Britney as very upset after her boys left her home on Sunday morning, especially since it could be weeks to months before the next overnight visit.

Spears was granted overnight privileges on Tuesday, June 24th, and has another custody hearing set for August 25th.

Kevin Federline, who was reported partying in Miami over the weekend, is fighting for sole physical custody of his two sons and wants Britney to continue her current terms for visitation.

However, as Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent, states:

If the existing arrangement was acceptable to both parties… we wouldn’t have to go to trial. But that didn’t happen.

Spears is just 26, but with her issues and baggage, you’d guess she were a lot older. Let’s just hope she wakes up and matures quickly.

A custody trial is set for August 25th after Kevin Federline and Britney Spears fail to reach a custody agreement.

K-Fed’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan said,

The mediation didn’t result in an agreement that would avoid a trial…The mood was comfortable, positive and it was a mood that was consistent with opening at least a great dialogue, which is necessary.  Kevin is seeking to maintain the sole legal and physical custody that he presently has.  Kevin has had sole legal custody since January.  He wants that to become the permanent order at trial, and the visitation to be consistent with what the court expanded it to this week.

Britney has come a long way since January and her visitations were expanded earlier this week to include overnight stays along with two day visits a week.

Although Britney appears to be mentally stable, we can’t forget that her dad, Jamie, is still in control of her life.  Besides I can see why Kevin would want to maintain sole custody of his little paychecks boys.  How can he trust Britney to care for her children if she is still unable to care for herself?

This rumor makes me a little sick to my stomach. Jamie Spears has supposedly offered Kevin Federline a good lump sum of money (Britney’s money no doubt) in order to get back together with his daughter Britney. I don’t quite understand why he would want that low life moocher to be part of his daughter’s life again. The guy doesn’t even have a job. I would think he would want a man who could actually love and take care of Britney not love and take care of her bank account. Anyways, here is the the article.

“Jamie Spears has offered the one-time backup dancer $4.5 million to remarry his emotionally shaky ex-wife, Britney Spears. Celebrity insiders say Jamie, has been “buttering Kevin up” with a mirage of pricey presents, like golf clubs, watches, and a plasma TV.”

“Jamie’s been after Kevin to get back with Britney for months. He knows he may have to pay to get it done-and the money would come out of Britney’s assets, which he now controls….He keeps raising the stakes….The key is not letting Britney find out. When he isn’t in Brit’s life, she completely falls apart. It sounds corny, but he completes her-and Jamie knows it.”

In an effort to sweeten the pot, Jamie has offered to open a company specializing in the manufacturing of Britney Spears merchandise. If Kevin agrees to take Britney back, Jamie will put him in charge of marketing “Brit clothes, dolls, and other items.”

“His latest offer is $4.5 million in cash and a trust account set up with another $5 million if Kevin moves back in with Britney within a year. If they actually remarry, Jamie will add another $5 million to Kevin’s account,” a Spear insider further reveals. “All in all, Jamie told Kevin, he’ll make out very well.”

But making out “very well” may not be enough for the Ultimate Male Gold-Digger. Kevin’s reportedly holding out for a $20 million payout offer from Jamie before he will agree to sweep his pop star ex off her feet once again:

Kevin has told Jamie that “if they remarry, there would be no prenup. Jamie’s not very happy about that. He thinks his offer is generous enough that Kevin should take it.”

The dysfunctional relationship that is Britney Spears and Kevin Federline has just gotten stranger. That is, if you want to know about their sex life.

Even though the two are in the middle of a custody battle, they have remained close and call each other often. But Star Magazine reports that these frequent calls aren’t always to talk about the kids.

“Recently, when Britney was having a sleepless night, she decided to call Kevin at nearly 2 a.m. While they initially chatted about their boys - Preston, 2, and Jayden, 20 months - the conversation shifted. And as Britney hoped, Kevin knew exactly how to tire her out - with hours of erotic talk! “They have phone sex often - at least once a week,” an insider tells Star. “The one thing those two have in common is their need for sex, and after they get going, there are no holds barred.”

So I bet that’s some information you might not have wanted to know about these two. But really the question I want to ask is, how does Star Magazine know all these intimate details? I really doubt Britney called them up herself and told them this story. I guess I wouldn’t put it past her, but I think she needs all the good publicity she can get.

Honestly, though, this is really too much information. Why would anyone but Britney and Kevin need to know this? Or would want to? Some things are better left unsaid.
